Once I get a chance, I’ll try — but I doubt I’m going to be able to do any better than Nam and John!
Yeah, in person the piece looks a lot more vibrant and the colors look slightly different too. Its really hard to take accurate pictures of Windstones.
I bet my pictures probably won’t even be half as good as Nam’s and John’s! 🙂
So glad you got him! Do you like the subtle green flash on his wing baring? That didn’t show up in photos and I wasn’t sure if the new owner would like it or not! 😯

Oh wow…I’m glad you mentioned it! I didn’t even see it at first because I’d only been looking at him under incandescent lights, but I took him out to the sunlight just now and I can see it. Its beautiful! I love the way its so subtle. Actually, that’s one of the reasons I love your work — its very subtle and elegant. I think the wolf might be my favorite Windstone so far! (Shhh…don’t tell the grey tabby and the banded griffin 🙂
While we’re on the subject — I noticed that the green flash shows up on the sun griffin pictures. How did you manage to get the green flash to show up on those pictures?

Yay! I’m glad you like it!
The griffin is much larger.. and I could get the angles with the light -just right-. Though no matter what angle you’re at… I can’t get all of it to show up. That’s the nature of refracted light!

I wanted to, but my boss bounced my paycheck, and I couldn’t bid knowing that the funds would take a while.
I just found out who won them! The gold leaf dragon is not someone we know on here as far as I know, but the aluminum kirin winner is a form member! I’ll let them step forward only if they want to. 🙂
