I’m really sorry to hear about your troubles with the boyfriend, Drag0n. It does sound like he is hiding something. I hope you guys are able to get to the bottom of things and get past this. Hugs hugs.
Ack!…That is how things began with my ex-husband…Major Red Flag. I would listen to your instincts, and end the relationship. If you don’t nip it in the bud now, it will only get even more painful. Our divorce took years to finalize. You are very lucky you didn’t marry. Being single is under-rated. The freedom is like a breath of fresh air. It will still sting for some time, but it does subside.
Oh hell no! I’m so glad I have no desire to even GET married to ANYONE right now! LOL!

I know I’ve not been on as much in the past year, but I started dating again in February. I’ve know him since three months before my ex and I got married (will be 9 years in March). He was content to be my friend and never said anything about his feelings (and I was totally oblivious)…until several months after my divorce. Things have been going well and he asked me to marry him on Halloween (I said yes!).
The problem? Telling my family. They took the news badly last time I told them I was engaged (they didn’t see it coming at all) so I’m skittish about saying anything. My parents at least know he is planning on proposing because he asked them for permission (they said yes but asked him to wait – he waited six weeks).
I’m tired of hiding the ring whenever I’m around family (which can be tricky at times considering I work with my sister-in-law) so we’re going to tell them this weekend at some point before/during/after my son’s seventh birthday party. We just don’t know how to do it.

Oy! Had a bit of a scare today when the “tornadoes” came through. My parents live right near the high school. They had some trees down, though none hit the house.
Today is Gavin’s seventh birthday.
About 5 am he woke up due to a dream. When I was putting him back to bed I noticed he felt really warm (possibly fever warm)…that with the cough he had yesterday made me go “Uh oh! Bet he has strep”. I set an alarm, ran to get a thermometer (didn’t register a fever) and called up the doctor (thank goodness for Saturday hours). Got him in at 8:30. I was right on the strep throat.
