I feel you Werepanther! I also love the cougar sculpts and anything leopard but I just don’t even let myself get my hopes up of getting any because I can’t afford anything as I am still not ready or able to work. I can only afford a grab bag once in a while when I sell something else first. Melody is pretty good though at listening to people’s requests for productions pieces and grab bags. I kept asking her about pink dragons and she finally painted them which I was so excited about. Also with the grab bag kirins, she started painting them shortly after I asked about them after people had been mentioning the idea for a while. Also when people asked her to do a merle/brindle batch of wolves she said yes to that too which will come out soon. So here’s to hoping she will also do the cougars as limited production or grab bags after that!
My whine is that just about all my favourite fantasy kirins with pink already showed up early and were all traded away except one. My mom and I still haven’t gotten ours in so I am sad at the thought of having missed out trading for ones I loved! Although my absolute favourite might be available if I get a favourite of the owner or could do a three way trade and I really want that one! I just hope it works out as I already know I likely won’t get one of my favourites unless I get someone else’s and can trade them. I just hope our boxes get here soon. Only one has shown up in Canada and will take another day or two to get here and the other hasn’t crossed the border yet so I don’t know why they are taking longer than usual. With that said I am thankful that my mom and I were able to get them but it’s super sad seeing all my favourites traded away before getting mine in.

My whine is that for a few years now that I haven’t been able to get a gift for my birthday from my husband because we didn’t have money for it, except he got me a card last year, since it’s next to tax season and Easter. He finally got a job after looking for one for about a year and a half, well he took me out to dinner at the Claim Jumper, he also told me that he would get me a gift maybe even two or three depending on the price, which I was excited for. Then the day after dinner and still to this day he has complained about how much dinner was and that we wouldn’t have money left after groceries and my gift, I told him that my gift can wait I’m in no hurry. Yet he still complains about it and bugs me how he Has To get me something, it’s been bugging me when he says something like that, last night I got fed up with his complaining, I told him I don’t want a gift and my dinner was all I needed. He got mad and told me fine then don’t get me the surprise, which I was planning for two days, I told him that’s fine since all I was doing was going to dress up for him, I don’t really get dressed up that often since I don’t go no where except the store. So that’s my whine! *Ughh…**Sigh*
My sympathies Trina. That would make me feel annoyed/angry too. Griping like that would make me feel like the person thought it was more a hassle rather than something they wanted to do. Again, sympathies and I hope things smooth over for you soon.

It does make me feel like I’m just a burden in this family and that I can’t do enough to make him happy. I want to say that I don’t want anymore gifts because it makes me feel like I am selfish and I don’t want him to spend more than what he wants, oh well. What can you do but grin and bear it!

Feel free to tell me to buzz off and mind my own beeswax, hon, but…
You know… sometimes no company is better than the wrong or bad company. He sounds generally selfish, cold, and inconsiderate from everything I’ve heard except when it is convienent for him or he’s getting his way. Also putting his daughter before his wife isn’t a good way to have a healthy relationship – it needs to be more balanced and it doesn’t have to be at anyone’s expense to get there – I personally think you can do better and if it where me I would not put up with it. Do you want to spend the rest of your life dealing with these yucky situations and feelings? I’m not just talking about the gift exchange or lack there for deal.. again, I don’t mean to judge or advise where it isn’t wanted, I just feel for you, and there seems to be a lot of red flags about your life circumstances and I don’t want to see you get burnt or be unhappy so much. Part of what being buds is about is looking out for each other, ya know. I’d suggest marriage counseling but I really suspect it wouldn’t fly cause it takes two.Forever seeking: plum, chili pepper, and tattoo oriental dragons and kirins.
grr, my box shaped Ipod nano decided that it didn’t want to let the power button come back up today while I just got started on my walk…..it turned on just fine, let me pick a song then when I tried to change songs, I couldn’t get the screen to come back since I noticed the power button is stuck on down….
soooo, since I turned off the shake shuffle ages ago since I hold it in my hand so my arm swinging used to make it shuffle, I couldn’t continue my walk since I was stuck on the same song…..
……and biggest whine is that now it won’t shut off! it’s stuck…..
checked out the stores, they want $145 for the nano that looks like a mini Iphone…they have a $46 option Ishuffle but it only has 2GB so it’s not worth bothering with….

To the people who say they have pain, there is this spice called Turmeric. They have done recent studies on it and have found out it prevent and cure some cancers, kills almost all the pain, alleviate depression, and other things they are finding it works for. They come in capsules, I found some in Walmart but I’m sure you can find it on the web. It helps with my depression and anxiety. My husband has Snapping Scapula, where his shoulder blade grinds on his ribs, he takes it and he has barely any pain when Cortisone shots didn’t help at all.
Very good to know! I suffer from anxiety but am not medicated because the med the DR prescribed was $700 X_X *dies* So I deal with it. I also have mild scoliosis (lateral curvature of the spine) not too bad but enough to give me daily pain. I’ll look into the Tumeric!
Also, has the doctor said anything about surgery or strong anti inflammatory meds? How long has he had this?I need to whine because I’m sick 🙁 I NEVER GET SICK!! I catch the flu ONCE a year in December (despite all precautionary measures) and that’s it. I have a sinus infection that caused me to have a 101.4 fever, and of course with that, sore throat, body aches and chills. Woke up at 3:40AM miserable. Now I’m at work because I don’t have any vacation accrued to take a sick day and can’t afford a day off. -_- laying low today.

Look into a zune! To most, outdated technology but to me…awesome. I got mine on ebay for about $30 (after bidding on about 10 and losing them) and it’s 30GB hard drive based. If you want a little somethin’ somethin’ to take on your walk, I have an old Rio Forge Sport I’m not using. It’s only 30MB (yes, megs) but has an expandable slot so you can make it as big as you want. I’ll send it to you for shipping if you want. I also have another, bigger (8GB with an expandable slot) Sony? I forget the brand. MP3 player if you want. (or if anyone wants it. Don’t think I can sell it and don’t want to give it away to strangers if I can help it. Y’all aren’t strangers!)
I just need to whine a minute. Yesterday I was moving my Windstone around and the shelf fell(we found out the pin holding the shelf came out). I push my body up against the opening and stop a lot of them from falling. My husband came running and he save a lot of them. What got the worst was 2 PYO keepers and all my frogs(I will take pictures and ask drag0n to fix please). I fix the PYO keeper the best I could but I know I will never match the paint, but they don’t look bad. Well I am just heart sick and I know crying don’t help. I got every thing back in but now I am not sure I will every touch again. well that is enough for now. Linda

My turn. A week ago Monday I had to let my Mick go. She just had so much going on, and crashed and burned over the weekend. Goodbye my good girl. I still listen for her “woowooo” comments to everything.
I couldn’t come on then because my computer crashed also. On the plus side, it was under warranty and is back tonight. I was worried because I’d sent something to someone in Moscow, but it arrived safely.
On top of that, the doctor says my heart is starting to decompensate too. He’s really wanting surgery, but without government assistance on the price- which isn’t happening at this point- surgery isn’t either. Oh well let’s see how tomorrow goes he’s sent me to Social Security to try and get disability he says no more work for me, at least as things stand.My sister and I went to an orchid show down near Miami a few weeks ago, though, and had a great time. I’d trade it all for Mick back.
Pipsxlch, sorry to her about your dog. That is always tough losing a beloved pet. I hope you can get on disability and get surgery if you need it. I always feel bad when I hear about people not having health care or the money to pay for it. I wish people could just come up to Canada to get free health care here or I hope they really work on getting better or more affordable plans in the U.S.

I agree with you not being able to get them, they are so pretty I wish they weren’t so flipping much!! I really like they barn owl, I have a brooding pair in my back yard, and I have some picture to prove it.
