What I wouldn’t give for that brimstone family! The Gina outdid herself on those details. Simply beautiful 😍

On her Facebook page Melody posted a video of her process for painting a ponycorn. Maybe this link will work …

That was great! I also watched the sewing machine one.

Love those videos. One question though… I’m familiar with the gold/silver paint pens but the one that Melody was using on the autumn leaf ponycorn which was green, I’ve not seen that before. What brand/kind is that? Anyone know?

Another video from Melody. This one was posted on the “Windstone Editions Fan Club (Official)” Facebook page on May 23. Fingers crossed that the link will work!

Melody says, “This is a crumby teaser video of the upcoming ponycorn grabbag batch. I’ll see if I can do a better video tomorrow.”

A couple of screenshots from a video that Melody posted on the “Windstone Editions Fan Club (Official)” Facebook page.

Melody says, “I’m test painting a Barong. This is the final version. I dunked him in tea to give him a base color, and it looked so nice I am just trying not to ruin it.”

The test paint Barong when Melody finished painting him. She posted the photo on Facebook on June 1.

Melody said, “Here is the final version of the Barong, the evil-fighting, superhero spirit creature.
He is having the final molds made now. He isn’t in the store yet!
This guy is really hard to paint. Gad. I made a mess of this one. He was dipped in tea to get a base color and I then brushed pearl white paint onto his armor. Bad choice, because Pearl is too transparent to use to touch up the sloppy gold and blue paint.
Well, I’m confident you people can do a much better job than me! He has divots where jewels, or beads can be placed. We will provide a couple jewels for his crown and bib, you can use your imagination for the rest of his decorations!”

Update on the ponycorns, posted on Facebok on June 1. The most recent hold-up was getting class pics. Presumably they now have been taken.

Hey Melody! What size are the Barong’s eyes? Also – any ETA on when these may be available in the Store?

                                The Barong takes 8mm eyes.
He is having first molds made now, that takes a while. Then we need to cast a big first batch of them before we can offer them in the store. That will take a few weeks, depending on how many molds we have on line. So my expert answer is…I dunno!
But we are working on it!

I think the fine tip metallic pens I was using were these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BJ46G1D/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza
