That Caterpillar Poad you painted (posted on FB) looks FABULOUS, Melody!
So – have the belly issues been resolved? Are the Standing Hippogriffs almost ready? Maybe in a week or two? The anticipation is killing me!

A couple of things from Melody’s Facebook page …

Melody says, “Mock turtles. Never finished these”
From the comments – “Who or what are they mocking?”
Melody’s reply – “me i think”

For this guy Melody says, “Qi-lins are relatives of ki-rins. They usually have two forked horns and their heads are more dragon-like than a kirin’s, but the distinction between the two types of creatures is kinda vague.
Qi-lins seem grumpier.”

The turtles are cute, and I just love the qilin! He does look grumpy, like he’s thinking « Are you guys done goofing around? »
