I am surprised they are so similar in design to the Kickstarter Poads. So many people made a big fuss about Kickstarter items being one-time exclusives that should never be available again.

It was only ever the Mini Poads and the special painted Ser Garlen that were sold as a kickstarter exclusives. There were no young poads in the kickstarter at all.

Correct – I think having some of the Young Poads in Kickstarter-like colors and patterns would be neat for those wanting to have a complete ‘Veligent’ Clutter: Adult, Baby and Young Poad. There also seem to be a few that look like silo-type patterns with birds on them.

These are young poads. I’ve never painted Youngs like this, just babies and adults… and mini beans.

Any news on the young poads? Are they boxed yet?

                    From Melody’s Facebook page.
Melody says, “Working slowly on a pyo short-haired cat. I can’t decide which style to use, the one with the tall stretched out or the one with the curled up tail. The long-haired cat on the left is the one we produce.”

                    All the comments say, “Curled!”

Wouldn’t a curled-tail one be easier to pack in a box and then be less expensive to ship?

And what’s that thing in the background on the left??? Do tell!

Looks like a dragon going « Boop » on the cat’s nose.

Would doing a short-haired cat with a stretched out tail AND a cat with a curled tail be too much trouble? Lots of folks have multiple kitties they’d like to do PYO memorials to, so variety in the sculpts would be a plus, I’d imagine!

I much prefer the curled tail version

                          Life is beautiful.
