I’m squeaking for lower prices on the next grab bag. I know art is worth whatever people will pay for it, but with these prices I will soon have to stop collecting Windstones and I don’t want to. I’ve already had to quit bidding on any test paints. Two of the new ponycorns cost more than my mortgage each month. This is only a wish however. Melody can charge whatever she wants to.
They aren’t all high priced. As you may remember, the previous two grab bags were foxes at $80 each and tadpoads costing $82 each
If is is true that baby Gothic unicorns are being cast now I would expect them to be the next grab bag. They look to be easier to paint than the ponycorns so they should be less expensive.
Melody calls these babies Gothic kids.July 20, 2025 at 4:45 am #1695618Looking forward to getting a Gothic kid. They’re adorable!

Melody calls these babies Gothic kids.I hope so. But the standing ponycorns were $95 more than the laying ones, and the laying ones were painted in more complex patterns. I would have expected the standing ones to be less, or at least no more. The sitting ones were only $250 and the last batch of fantasy young unicorns was only $360. Again though, this is only a wish on my part, and Melody is fully within her rights to charge whatever she wants to. Not a complaint, just a wish.

July 24, 2025 at 7:35 am #1695690I’d love to see a restock of the Sitting Young Oriental Violet Flame dragon, plus that sculpt in other colors. It’s surprising that a new sculpt like that has only been done in one production color and a few grab bags.
July 24, 2025 at 8:32 am #1695691Since I can’t seem to edit my above post, I’d also love to see the normal Adult Oriental Dragon made in Violet Flame. That is the only sculpt in that family that has not been done in Violet Flame.
July 24, 2025 at 1:55 pm #1695693ditto on that Northern, I’d love to see sitting young orientals done in Brimstone!
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat or the new one Melody is working on
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White
4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male GriffinJuly 25, 2025 at 2:46 am #1695699Dreaming of these in white hearth dragon, spectral dragons, all the Oriental dragons, curled dragon, and pebble dragons.

Me too. I’d also love to see it in pearl white, lavender pearl, old peacock and emerald/jade.
July 29, 2025 at 3:08 pm #1695733Just had an amazing thought (IMO). The Windstone world needs Desert Opal Griffins!

August 8, 2025 at 6:51 pm #1696030I am also going to squeak for more affordable grab bags. $80 for a tadpoad is way too much for such a small sculpt. Yes it is less than a standing ponycorn, but not proportionally less. If the everything bagel sitting ponies can be $250, I don’t see why the standing ponycorns in natural colors were such a huge jump. The laying ponies were a bit of a shock, but they were quite intricate so I could see a higher price tag there (sort of, I still didn’t buy one). But I would hope to see a laying ponycorn batch in natural or safari colors for a lower price tag.
August 8, 2025 at 8:29 pm #1696034Kiera I just wanted to comment as someone who owns a small business. Production materials such a gypsum, paint, etc have gone up so the prices have had to go up as well. I make candles (among other things) and it nearly killed me to raise prices but I had to. I think it is the same with Windstone especially the grab bags which takes Melody a long time to paint.
I will squeak for more sitting qilin grab bags but honestly I love them all
