*Whines* Can it be this afternoon yet? Hubby is expected in TODAY! Right now he’s supposed to have several hours on a layover at Atlanta Airport, but if I know him, he will do his d@mndest to weasle his way on to one of the earlier flights to the airport near his parents.
Sorry I haven’t been on much. He got home around 9:30 in the morning. He’s good at finding a way to get on an earlier flight. We grabbed some breakfast and then went to visit his father in the hospital. Oh man, that was tough. His father was a large man before, but he’s so small now (went from wearing XL to a M). His father was having a very good day. He remembered Gavin (our son) and me as well. After that we came back to the house to relax.
Yesterday we did some Christmas shopping in the morning and then after his mom got off work we went to see his dad again. Unfortunately it was a bad day. He didn’t remember us visiting the day before. He asked to see Gavin, so we will be taking him over this afternoon. We had his welcome home steak dinner after the visit with his father and then came home to a nice long soak in the hot tub.
Ditto what PC said. Enjoy your visit, and try to focus on the good stuff w/his dad, like him remembering and wanting to see Gavin.
