My PYO Phoenix arrived today so I worked on her most of the afternoon.

This is “Skyfire”. I had already planned on painting my first PYO Phoenix in these colors. She is inspired by the vibrant colors found in thunderheads at sunset. I airbrushed her main colors in red, magenta, gold and purple. I have started adding layers of interference blending & accents on her feathers and neck. Her eyes are the pink lavender color. I still have quite a ways to go on her, but I wanted to share the first progress pics. 🙂
