WTF! I have been expecting a package and for 3 days the post office has been unable to locate it and it keeps saying I have notices and I have not got one of them! If it’s on the truck knock on my damn door. I’m sorry there is snow outside, but this is the reason everyone ships UPS now instead of USPS. They freaking suck!
“Hey, we’re the post office and we’re struggling right now, Why not make our customer service better? Them maybe people will use us more……. on second thought… Let’s just raise our prices some more and do a crappier job”Yea, good idea! …Jerks
I am the opposite I flat out refuse to use UPS the effing BLOW if you are shipping internationally!!
February 3, 2011 at 3:29 am #836289EVERYTIME I GO TO IMAGESHACK TO PUT A PICTURE ON THE FORUM I GET HIT WITH A VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone else having this problem???? Everytime I go there my Anti-virus software closes the page and then spends an hour cleaning it up!!February 3, 2011 at 5:45 am #836290skeeterdeee wrote:EVERYTIME I GO TO IMAGESHACK TO PUT A PICTURE ON THE FORUM I GET HIT WITH A VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Believe it or not, the ads that many sites host can give you viruses. My main solution to this was to change my browser to Firefox with the Adblock Plus plug-in. I have had very few issues with viruses since. Another issue you may be having is that your anti-virus is not totally getting rid of the virus your computer caught. There are also free anti-malware tools that you can download (Malwarebytes and Ad-Aware to name a couple). Just be careful about what exactly you download. If you like, PM me and I can provide you with some links. From experience I’ve learned that anti-viruses on their own are not that reliable.

OH! Now I understand! I wondered why websites that I’ve used for a long time suddenly were giving me grief! I didn’t know that ads could do that. About a year ago I went to Google and suddenly my computer said I had 54 trojan horses and my computer wouldn’t even turn on (I had NO anti-spyware/virus at the time). It cost me $250 to pay Geek Squad to come and fix my $400 computer 🙄 I’m not very computer savvy, I only use it to shop, pay bills, and talk to you guys everyday! 🙂February 6, 2011 at 4:57 am #836292WTF to the little brat boy (who was quite visibly old enough to know better) who just cut to the front of the line for the cookie stand in the mall. And to all the other little brats who needed to be turned over a knee and taught some manners who were out in full force today.
(Kudos to the old man at the front of the cookie line who got onto the boy, though).
Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
February 7, 2011 at 3:18 am #836293Oh! I hate self absorbed POSs that think they’re more important than everyone else and who teach their kids the same attitude!

You had a lot of great years with your kitty, just remember his little quirks or things he did to make you laugh. Sadly, pets have such short lifespans and it’s hard to let them go.
As for the money… Well, been there done that and expect to always have the I wants. LOL. It came to a point where I had to just stop buying anything for months until I could get everything caught up and under control. You have an awesome collection of Windstones. When I feel like you do, I just look at my collection, my ponies, my kids and revel in what I have. I know it’s a lot more then a lot of people in this world!Hope you feel better soon! Hugs!
February 8, 2011 at 10:32 pm #836296Thanks Phoenix… I have an interview as a manager for a Converse store coming up. It’s a commute, but hopefully it goes well.

February 8, 2011 at 11:02 pm #836298Just tired of the struggle of life! Waiting for good times that may never come and wishing the hard times would go away but are sticking around like unwelcomed guests with entitlement issues! My classes are going okay but I’m tired–beating my head against the wall and tired of attitudes of certain people around me. I guess I don’t do enough but I can’t help everyone and am trying to help myself right now. I do look at my Windstones and they bring a smile to my face–I do have a lovely collection. I just hope something good will happen to all of us here–some relief will be on the way–somehow.
February 9, 2011 at 4:17 am #836299OK. Here’s mine…

February 9, 2011 at 7:13 pm #836301To Drag0n, Ladyfirebird and everyone,
There was a point in my life I just couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. My daddy died from cancer, my horse died a terrible death, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, my Fiancée at the time left me, and the list keeps going. It all started to build up on me. It wasn’t until last year that I started to come out of it.
I had a friend tell me to think positive even if you don’t feel it. The more you think about something the more you start to feel it. I started to think positive and positive things started to happen. Every time I would feel a negative thought creep in I would start to think of something I was grateful for, like my Windstones. Slowly things got better and now they are pretty darn awesome. I met the man of my dreams, I have a family now, my mom and I are talking again, and my health is so much better. I still have bad days. I have permanent damage to my body from my diabetes, always have money issues, but I don’t let it get to me like I use to.
It’s like waking up on the wrong side of the bed. Has anyone every notice that the day seems to get worse? I think it’s because we focus on the negative. When I stump my toe in the morning I just walk it off and think about something else. When I am stuck in traffic I don’t focus on it and listen to music. Just changing my thought process has changed my whole life.
There are many books on this subject. I thought it was a load of crock at first but it truly is not. One of the best books I have found is called The Secret. They have a dvd as well, I found a copy in our public library. Another great author is Joesph Campbell.
Opportunities to find deeper powers within ourselves come when life seems most challenging. -Joseph Campbell
Sorry for the long rant but if it could help me I know it could help anyone!
Now for my WTF moment of the day:
I went to Gamestop to get an exclusive Pokemon for my Soul Silver game. I walk in get my DS out, start the wifi on it and the lady working was asking what I was doing. “I’m just down loading the shiny legendary pokemon”. The lady replies, “That ended 3 days ago.” !&@^#%$* stupid Pokemon forums told me the wrong dates 🙄February 9, 2011 at 7:44 pm #836302I will second what Griffinlover has said. It may sound corny, but I started doing this about a half a year ago. I have been working with an intuitive lately (have an appointment on Friday actually), and it really has changed my outlook on things. Yes, I’m still all doom and gloom sometimes. Sometimes, it’s just really hard not to be. Thought patterns can be REALLY hard to break… 🙄
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this it’s that my thoughts can (and do) manifest themselves. And sometimes, it’s not so much the thought, but the more powerful emotion behind it.
