Yeah forums can be really hit or miss. I’ve been to nice, pleasant ones like the Windstone forums and others that are just trolls-trolling-trolls. I think a lot of forums start out friendly, but become filled with grumpy people who spend too much time on the internet. Eventually the friendlier people are driven away or move to other hobbies and all that’s left is a community of people complaining or arguing with each other. Any new members that walk in are going to be greeted with cynicism or hostility because ‘that’s how it is around here.’ I’ve seen it happen slowly to a couple imageboards I used to browse, even though they were fairly chill places when I first came there.
So I have been trying not to get mad about this because it’s all been covered under the warranty, but since I bought my new truck (had it for a little over 3 weeks to a month now) My 4 wheel drive has been broken, the check engine light has come on for cylinder misfire, then for fuel injectors, then for 02 censor, and now again for the system running too lean and another cylinder misfire, this time from both banks. WTF!? It’s been in the shop more then I have been driving it! Of course I bought it in Westport too so each time there is something wrong it’s an hour and a half of worth driving on an 8 cylinder gas guzzler while eating up the milage on my warranty. I’m getting REALLY freaking irritated! I don’t know if I should tell them I want another vehicle or not. I love the truck, but if it’s going to be nothing but problems then I don’t want to pay $400 a month for something that doesn’t work! WTF!
