October 22, 2008 at 6:15 am #703076Don’t worry. I didn’t even go. You can’t get me into that city! It’s an awful place!
October 22, 2008 at 8:32 am #703077π What great photos! The little guy looks like he had fun.
October 22, 2008 at 9:26 am #703078Wow, Phoenix, I think your paint job looks great. I like how you were able to incorporate your personal signature marking while still getting it to blend with GB’s paint job pretty well. And what I love even more, is the painted in eyes π I like seeing the eyes in the photos; makes him feel more alive to me. (Although, I’m sure others can argue it doesn’t matter anyways because they aren’t really alive. :()
October 22, 2008 at 3:17 pm #703079Was that the Tin Man? π― π π That Ki-Rin just keeps getting prettier all the time! π
October 22, 2008 at 3:31 pm #703080Down of Fishermans Wharf, there are about 10 different guys that paint themselves silver and do the robot dance if you put a dollar in the cup. Some are really good.
There’s also a bush guy… He gets a branch of a tree or bush and hides behind it. Then when someone walks by that’s not really paying attention, he jumps out and yells to scare the crap out of them. After he does that two or three times, he’ll take his can to the people watching and laughing on the other side of the street and collect $$ from them.
So if you’re walking and you see a bush out of place… Beware! I’ve seen people actually start running at mach 60 down the street to get away…Not looking back… Just gettin outta there! πOctober 22, 2008 at 3:38 pm #703081π π π That is too funny!
October 22, 2008 at 4:04 pm #703082Yep. Except he started doing it down by where the HIDTA set up their wire room… So you can imagine the amount of armed officers going in and out of the building.
Now imagine said officer’s reaction when someon jumps out at them from behind a bush π― π
He didn’t stick around too long πOctober 22, 2008 at 5:58 pm #703083Well that looked like a cool excursion. I wish I could travel as much as this little guy has!
October 22, 2008 at 9:06 pm #703084I would bet he gave a few officers heart attacks that day before he mosied along! π π π It would have been classic to see their faces though! π
October 23, 2008 at 5:01 am #703085Hahaha! I’d love to see the bush guy in action. That sounds so funny. π
October 23, 2008 at 3:51 pm #703086Yah. Considering most people walking on the wharf are tourists π
There was also a guy that was able to make the most beautiful paintings out of spray paint and torn paper. He’d put out 5-6 an hour and he had a line waiting to buy them. I wanted one, but the wait was 2 hours π―
I’ve seen copycats since, but none had the talent of the original.October 23, 2008 at 4:04 pm #703087I figured YouTube would have it…
For those of you that want to see an amazing art form….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QSJVihpRDw&feature=related
