Which part are you painting? I don’t see much left open.

    I’m drybrushing the fur.

        Beautiful scales!

The grading of the fur looks awesome, but man is he freaky without the eyes or what!

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

Does anyone mind if I antique the fur, instead of drybrushing it? IMO it would look a bit better… but want to see if your plan was for drybrushing rather then antiquing…

I don’t mind…whatever will look better works for me, so if you think that the antiqueing will be better, I am all for it Dragon87… 😉

Antiquing would look great! I’m glad you came up with a solution, sorry about making that so hard =

Thanks ^^ I did the fur! one of my better jobs 😀 I like to take the eyes out before painting, I paint a little messily and I hate trying to get the paint off the glass eyes. Someone should stick an eye in one side and take a picture 😀 I think the eyes are brown.

Hard is fun though… makes it a challenge! And I like challenges (sometimes). 😉

I sent the kirin on his way yesterday. Starbreeze says it usually takes three weeks for packages from me to reach her – even though the max should be two weeks 😕 – so Phoenix, you should be getting him around mid-September. In the mean time, we make no progress. 😛

Thanks for the update GB…I hope he gets to Phoenix safe and sound… 😀

He should. He’s double boxed and peanut-packed – and was 500 grams over a kilo so I had to pay double the shipping. I could have included a couple chocolates, but I forgot. 😳

Oh GB I was just wondering if you got a tracking number on the Ki rin when you shipped him out?

No, they don’t do tracking numbers for international mail, unfortunately. 🙁 But I’ve never had a box get lost, so I’m sure the kirin will get to Phoenix all right. Plus, I’ve shipped to Phoenix before. *knock on wood*
