Psssst…I think the PO’s are closed on Saturday. Unless they changed their mind. Who knows maybe it is just the little towns. 😕

That’s okay, WC. XD I went out of town and missed going to the postal anyways. But I did get a pic of the kirin visiting the river wall downtown!

She’s down there on the log. XD There’s a whole row of murals on our river wall, but this is the first of them, and my favorite (b/c of the birds). Sadly, there aren’t any Carolina Parakeets around here anymore. I think they’re extinct? Not sure.

He arrived yesterday. I meant to post that he did, but Thursdays are 12 hr works days for me and I was brain dead when I got home.

Anyway, he’s landed safely and he’s SO pretty. I only have a little area to paint, but I’m afraid of messing it up. 😯

Quick question….does anyone object to letting me antique her in gold?? I have some gorgous wings heading this way for her, but she’s gonna need a bit of gold and possibly copper accenting to tie it all in…and I was thinking the body scales would look terrific antiqued with gold.

I trust you Kyrin…I am sure that if you think that in the end he needs the gold and or copper, that should be fine… 😀 As long as all the colors go together… 😀
