Nice, where did you find your camera? I have lost and unearthed things like that before too.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
June 1, 2015 at 12:51 pm #930252It was in a pocket of a backpack (which I swear I searched). It had been missing since I moved in with my husband. I didn’t get to pack a lot of my stuff at the time because I was six months pregnant and had to work full time.
June 2, 2015 at 2:42 pm #930295I got a Charizard Amiibo for retail price! YAY for not paying scalper prices! Of course, I had to sit by my computer pressing refresh, refresh, refresh,….. on Amazon waiting for them to appear during the release window, but it was so worth it. My Pikachu needed a buddy!
I thought the frenzy over Windstone GBs were bad; they got nothing on limited Amiibos. Thankfully I don’t collect Amiibos and just wanted the Pokemon ones because they are cute.
June 2, 2015 at 3:15 pm #930297Please tell me you at least have a Wii U to use them with!

No
And I also own some Disney Infinity figures because I thought the pieces looked cool even though I don’t own that game for any system.
*runs and hides in shame*
June 2, 2015 at 6:40 pm #930303I don’t see a problem with having them because you like them! I had to look up what they were…
I wonder if the game chip is in the base, and can be removed to share with a game owning friend? If it truly bothers you not to be using it, otherwise just enjoy!June 2, 2015 at 11:10 pm #930309Please tell me you at least have a Wii U to use them with!

-laughs- Well, maybe you’ll run into someone who does have a Wii U! You can use it then if you so choose! I’ve considered buying them myself to use with my friend’s Wii U (because I certainly don’t own one). They ARE pretty cool looking. I really like the Adult Link one myself.
I just ask because it seems a shame you won’t get the full functionality of what you paid for. Congrats on not paying the scalper costs too! That drives me crazy! It stinks when other people buy something out just so they can resell it at inflated prices! Ugh! SO UNFAIR!

Besides, if on the off chance it was resold it would ruin the resale value to not have the chip.

She gave it to me totally unexpectedly when we met earlier this week. I didn’t have a baby dragon or anything in violet flame. So, it was a nice addition.
Thanks Jennifer! 🙂Formerly had the Batman & Joker avatar!

Thanks Jennifer! 🙂How great that you were able to get together. 🙂 Congrats on the Violet Flame baby too – what a nice surprise (and very generous)!
June 20, 2015 at 4:13 am #930959Today I performed my piece in a big chamber music concert for which we spent a week preparing… so relieved! It was a flute/viola/piano trio, a very odd combination! (I was flute.)

Awesome! I played flute and piccolo, though it’s been awhile………I want to go to my college’s alumni band day this fall, but my chops are NOT ready.
Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.

That sounds fun. No reason not to pick it up again, if you have the instrument, hey? 😉 How long were you playing for?

June 21, 2015 at 12:18 am #930983I started in 5th grade on the flute. I didn’t pick up the piccolo until college because we didn’t have flutes in the marching band. I did five seasons of marching band. Some of the most fun I’ve had in my life!

June 30, 2015 at 8:48 pm #931314My husband finally got approved to go back to work on next Monday! James has been out of work (on short term disability) since early December. Due to a herniated disc in his back. It had been bothering him for some time but he just thought it was a normal backache. Then on a Friday it got worse and that night he couldn’t sleep from the pain. The next day he couldn’t sit or lay on his back or even stand and walk. All he could do was lay on his stomach. So we went to the doctor’s office on Monday. She said there was nothing she could do but that she couldn’t let him go home like that. So she sent him to the hospital. The hospital gave him a shot and 4 pills and he slept for 5 hours then they were able to do xrays and a MRI. The lowest disc in his back was severely herniated so that it was touching the sciatic nerve. So the hospital send him home with the name of a surgeon to call the next day. About a week later the surgeon told James he would have to have back surgery. So 3 weeks later and a big fight with our health care insurance he had the back surgery. And our Doctor just released him to go back on next Monday. He’s happy to be getting back to normal daily life. And I’m happy to see the paychecks going back to normal also! It’s a huge stress off my shoulders to see him moving around normally again and not needing the pain pills anymore!
Heck Yeah!!! 🙂 -
