Well, I have to say this griffy blows every other PYO I’ve ever seen on this forum right out of the water. Utterly, the most beautiful griffin EVER! :yes:

Are those pics just under blacklight?

Nope, that’s dioxasine(sp?) purple in sunlight (burned my eyes trying to paint it lol) I didn’t think to look at it under blacklight, too late now, she’s heading to her new home!

Thank you all for the ecstatic comments, it’s actually making me blush 😳 . I guess because I had worked on it for so long I never considered how good it really looked until I took the photos.

I just noticed you changed your name… I clicked on “soulscape’s pyo” but when I saw it, I knew it was Nuke’s work lol. Any reason behind it?
Do you have some idea of how many hours you spent on this guy? He’s quite amazing. You don’t happen to have any close up shots of him, do you?

I felt the name Nuke wasn’t the best interpretation of this style of art (wildlife painting ect as well) and so Soulscape became a more professional title. As well I changed my artist signature from Keay to my middle name Rose because a)Keay is terrible to hand write and no one can pronounce it. and b) I wont have to change it again if I get married and be recognized as Marion Rose’s daughter in artist lineage (her website is here: http://marionrose.com )

I spend on average 20 or so hours on each piece. As I get better I hope to cut that time a third. And here are some close ups:
