Wow, it looks so cool! I love the details on the rock and the tail! I am usually super nervous to try painting anything but this makes me want to paint again!
Just curious if anything else is being painted right now or if another grab bag will come out again in he next month or so like say more fantasy baby unicorns? I know a bunch of us would love those again as a change from pebbles! I also still need a copper patina baby dragon!
I just finished some gb tadpoads, but those are like popcorn. No limit, get a handful.
I need to decide on what serious grab bag to do next…hmmMy first born child for a unicorn batch! Of course, I can’t have kids…so…It might not be the BEST deal for you. But you can have my money!

Nah, this one isn’t good enough. I needed to change the horse’s eyes, they are too buggy right now.
I changed the slimy, indistinct looking stuff in the middle of the base, removed the little tiny scales near his shoulder, and a few other minor things. One more version, and he’ll be done. I couldn’t decide whether to leave or remove the ventral fins, so I left them. In this pic the ventral fin is painted the base’s color.OMG, he’s lovely! I think the ventral fins are a good idea – it makes the piece look more balanced. But leave the starfish on the base! I luf starfish 🙂

Well, unfortunately there’s no fat cats to paint. We are down to one part-time caster right now, so there’s not much new stuff getting poured.
We have a few cart fulls of other pebbles though, tanukis, grey foxes, wolves and cougars.
