very, I was just looking just in case and there they were, still no email but I got a GB one….I love AWHDs but I didn’t get one since the ears don’t fit, AWHD have big ears so the bat earred worked but it looks a little odd with the small sitting fox’s ears to me….

Just got my email a few seconds ago.
So sad right now to be missing out on these lovelies. Was expecting the Grab Bag edition, but totally wasn’t expecting the African Wild Dog edition D; I collect AWDs. Still, can’t afford one right now, so no choice but to pass. Good luck to everyone who snags one!
Ms. Melody, how many of the Wild Dog edition were painted? Just curious :3

☙ #224 KOI GB '22 Young Qi'LinOh man, I just went and bought my GB fox and some other stuff, not realizing there were AWDs too! Oh well, maybe someday in the future they will rerun and I can snag one.
It only took a few minutes to fix the master in this case, but it takes a day apiece to cast new rubber molds on it, and we need several. Then it takes… maybe a week or two to cast enough pieces for a batch. This depends on how many molds we have on line, and how many casting pours per mold-per day they can do. The fatcats only take a few days to dry, but we wait until we got the entire batch dry before starting to paint them. Everything takes time.
This is assuming there aren’t new problems cropping up.doesn’t sound too bad if we have some in like a month to me!
I know it’s been about ten days since I asked or so but just curious how these guys are coming along?

It’s probably for the best to make it a PYO instead of a regular production piece, since all those details on the base, scales, etc would make it difficult to paint in even a simple color scheme. I’m sure all the talented PYO painters on the forum are licking their chops right now in anticipation. 🙂
