So…..not to be nosy 😉 but just wondering what might be up next as far as grab bags? I know the Cougars were just released and the hippocampus sculpt looks amazing! But any ideas for what’s next?

      Maybe sitting foxes.

YES,YES,YES,YES PLEASEEEEEE. I’ve been waiting for ever for those foxies! Please do natural red fox colors and maybe throw in some arctic summer coats too maybe? I’ve been holding back on buying anything just so I can be ready for more foxies!

I will probably do a grab bag of natural fox morphs, like I did for the curled red fox pebbles.

LOVE it! That’s exactly what I’ve been hoping for, These foxes are going to look so pretty and elegant. Any chance we could get a photo of either sitting fox sitting next to the pebble red fox? Just to see the size comparison?

Any of you guys see this on Deviantart?

I know everybody else wants grab bags, but I want more PYOs! The hippocampus is looking amazing, and I see the oriental dragon that I have been drooling over for months in the background there. I hope they get finished soon! (Although Melody is scaring me bay saying the oriental might not be a PYO. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed a PYO oriental dragon in my life!)

Oh, the Oriental is definitely going to be a pyo, I am just not sure what to do with the lion kirin in the background.

The lion kirin is a gorgeous creature concept. And his twisted back ears are so cute! I would be happy if he ended up a production piece or a PYO. He’s just too faboo to be shelved! But everything in it’s own time of course.

And I’m still very much looking forward to the oriental pyo! With his mouth open like that, I think those of us with marble collections will have to guard them. He looks like a marble hoarder to me. 😉

I’d honestly prefer the lion kirin as a production piece. It seems personal to Windstone, and it would be neat to see what the original creators come up with in terms of design.

          Oriental PYO! Oriental PYO!
I might like to put a polished gem rock in his mouth, more options than just a marble. 😉

Oooooo Lion Ki-Rin and Hippocampus PYOS too perhaps? 😀

Would the fox morphs be the new sitting foxes? Also just curious when we might see merle wolves and natural tanukis? Would you consider doing limited production tanukis like raccoons or red pandas or ivory ones?

Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!

A polished gem would be way more awesome than a marble. I just mentioned marble because sometimes it’s easier to find those. 😉

I’d like to see a production series of the Lion Ki-Rin with a female and baby. That would be SO cute! It would be cool if they were PYOs, but I think they might work better as production.

I’m not sure how I feel about the Hippocampus. I like the creature (it’s details are great!) but every time I look at the sculpt I keep feeling like the upper body is too big for the lower body. I dunno, maybe it’s the angle of the photograph or my imagination.

Yes, I believe you may be correct about the Hippocampus’ porportions…. I believe the head may be a little too big, and his mid-section a little thin for the overall horse/fish body. At least that is what seems ‘off’ to me.

Yeah his head looks too big in this photo. I posted a pic of him from the back on the facbook page: https://www.facebook.com/WindstoneEditions/photos/a.199530530086821.44550.182267461813128/999745053398694/?type=1&theater

Okay, I see! The head is pointed slightly towards the camera while the body is leaning most of it’s weight away from the camera. That’s why the head looks bigger than it is. It’s amazing what a different view of something can show you!

Now I think his head actually may be too big! I’ll look at him carefully when the next casting gets made.
Also, the photo shows the extra bulk on the top of the head, and muzzle. I add that so that I have some material to carve into on the next casting.
But it is hard to figure proportions on a fish-horse.

Hey there are no rules – not like someone will find a live one to compare your sculpture too – right? 😉 hee hee!

There’s another pic of the Hippocampus on Melody’s FB, showing how large it is in comparison to a hand! It looks even cuter now!

I don’t think the head is too big personally, but I kind of wonder if a larger tail fin/fluke would kind of balance the proportions more? I don’t know really, I think he looks pretty awesome as is at this point.
