No-no! I don’t hate it at all! Thank you for asking. I intended to post some pics I took, but I forgot my cell phone. I left it at the Windstone shop, and I am at home now. I’ll post some sneak peeks on the facebook page tomorrow when I get in.

That’s so sweet of you! I will definitely be on the look out for them tomorrow then!

I’ve noticed that you have put several Cougar GB test paints up on eBay, every piece I have seen so far is gorgeous. Especially Test Paint #1! I can’t really afford to be buying any new Windstone pieces right now, I’m saving money for a return trip to Japan next year. Though, I am setting aside money just for a Cougar GB piece and I was hoping you had not given up on the idea.
July 20, 2015 at 3:01 pm #932106No I haven’t given up, I just need to get “in the zone”, and settle on what style to paint them. Like, for example ; different types of cats? or with colorful fantasy decorations?, or what?
These grab bag test cougars on ebay are exactly that; different designs I was trying, to see what was do-able in a reasonable amount of time. I thought these test paints took a little too long to be normal grab bags, but part of the problem was the weather. It was so hot I couldn’t get the paint to behave, and spent an inordinate amount of time fixing mistakes and trying to get the airbrushes to work.
July 20, 2015 at 4:04 pm #932110We will be here whenever your muse and the weather cooperate! I would love them painted in natural cat colors, fantasy, or whatever you choose!
Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.
July 20, 2015 at 4:16 pm #932112Natural cat colors please! The spots and stripes are gorgeous. I like natural colors on pebbles best.

I love the idea of both natural cats, and fantasy cats. For fantasy, I think it would be amazing to just do cat patterns, but in fantasy colors. Like blues, purples, reds, oranges, etc. A purple tiger or puma would be amazing. That sort of thing. I love the black and silver one up on ebay.
Seeking Test Paints & GBs ! Please get in touch if you'd trade/sell. I'll remove pieces from list by owner request

Cool beans, glad you have not given up. Like I said, I’m loving the ones I am seeing on eBay. Sorry that it has been so hot and that the weather has been effecting your creative flow. Hopefully, inspiration will hit and in the meantime, I’ll keep saving my pennies…;)

Picture of the GB tanukis are up on Facebook if anyone would like post here. They look awesome!
July 20, 2015 at 6:58 pm #932123They’re so cute! I love this sculpt so much already. I’m not a huge fan of the leaf/fantasy designs but I do really like the Mantis shrimp ones! I normally wouldn’t try for a fantasy GB, I’m a natural colors kind of gal, but I am definitely going to get me one of these cuties!
Sooooo…what’s the estimate of when these guys will be finished, in the upcoming week or two/end of the month/etc.?

Not currently open for PYO commissions.July 20, 2015 at 7:12 pm #932124Just took a look at the FB posts. I was REALLY trying to convince myself to pass on the tanukis and wait on the GB Cougars – you know, show a little fiscal responsibility. Forget that – those tanukis are absolutely gorgeous. Oh, for an autumnal colored leaf one.
July 20, 2015 at 7:25 pm #932125I can’t see the pictures…. 🙁
Can someone either post them here or share them with the store Facebook page somehow? I can see the store Facebook page, but not Melody’s personal page.
Pleeeeeeease?
