They look fantastic
February 21, 2012 at 7:16 am #874122Ok, I think I have enough of a collection now that I can actually show it off. It’s by no means as awesome as some of the GORGEOUS collections that people around here have, but I think I’m off to a good start. 🙂
First up is my (poorly photographed) gargoyle collection
Despite how the photo looks, they get no direct sunlight on them in their window. That wierd little window is the perfect spot for a bunch of beautiful gargoyles!
From left to right: hyena, bat cat, white unicorn, little dragon, guardian dragon, winged cat, and roaring sentinel (I also have the little happy cat and winged panther, but they’re not in the picture)
Better shot of the white unicorn. I was so excited to get him! The unicorn is on my family’s crest, so he’s special to us 🙂
Better pic of the twin kitties.Ok, now dragons!
My first dragon! I’ve loved them for sooo long, but I only just got my first one this month. My husband bought this silver beauty for me for our fourth wedding anniversary. He’s so sweet!(The next two photos were taken outside where the light is better. My gardening bench is not their natural environment.)
And here’s my pretty peacock male I picked up for a great price on ebay a few weeks ago. He’s got a couple of chipped toes and needs his crevasses cleaned, but he looks great.
My newest pretties! Black violet peacock male and mother dragons. THEY ARE SO PRETTY!! 😀 I was suuuuuuper excited that I was able to get these. Granted, I practically stalked the store until they went up for sale…Still, I love them!
And last, but not least, my sad little unpainted pyos. That gryphon was part of the original pyo batch that was released waaaaaaay back in 2005 (I think that was the year). I’ve slapped some black paint on them as primer, but apparently didn’t get all the way through the keeper. I’m going to try to paint these soon, once I can figure out a color scheme…Okay, that’s everything I have so far. There’s a lot of stuff on my wishlist, but we’ll see what comes next. I can’t wait to keep adding dragons to my menagerie! 😀
February 21, 2012 at 12:00 pm #874126I love how you have your gargoyles displayed–wonderful! 🙂
And great to see an in-home shot of some of the new BVPs. They’re gorgeous!
February 23, 2012 at 6:33 pm #874491Umm I know this is a stupid question but can I post pictures here through the forum or do I need to use an out side source ? Cause I want to post pictures of my two bueaties. I really love the various pictures of everyone’s pictures the look fantastic and amazing. I can’t wait to show off my small collection.
February 23, 2012 at 6:41 pm #874492You go to a site like photobucket where it’s free to join and up load your pics and us the HTML code to copy and post here .
February 23, 2012 at 8:01 pm #874500Alright here are my little beauties, the hatching and fledgling. I know I don’t have a lot but I am hoping in time I will gather at least three color tones if not five. That way when I get to be a mother I can give each of my little ones their own collection for when they have families of their own.
I hope everyone likes my small collection; I do a lot of experience in product photography. So I hope the pictures look as good as they did on the camera. So tell me what you think.
February 25, 2012 at 11:24 pm #874777They are cute . Looks like they are watching something together .
February 26, 2012 at 12:06 am #874789I got this beauty today! He never showed up in the forums when this batch was released, and I’ll be taking better pics of him hopefully tomorrow so long as the sun decides to shine 🙂 He reminds me a LOT of Rosedust, a uni that I no longer own and still gives my heart pangs when I think of her.
This is Wingfeather 🙂

You don’t see the uni on the left. That uni doesn’t exist (and no, it’s not a Windstone grab bag!)!!
