I don’t read her books but I have family/friends that do.

To summarize: her soon-to-be-exhusband is trying to steal her character/story copyrights, the live-in nanny that he hired without her knowledge has been acting out against a non-disclosure agreement to rile up the fanbase (which in turn caused angry fans to reach out to Tor books and has caused a pushback for the titles she would be releasing this year), and she was extremely physically ill as a result of one or more peoples poisoning her food over some time. Basically a lot of bad crap piling up for her in some form or other.
