Would this be considered a violation? Looks awfully similar to me!
Almost looks like someone just painted a male dragon black & then glued it to a base. LOL love that they even call it a knock-off. Might be a cast of the male dragon hard to tell

It has to be a casting, if you look through the pics you can see the edges where the resin wasn’t sanded aside of all the bubbles and casting defects.

Yep, she’s a fake! I got one just like her. The bulging blue eyes, the light purple jewel, and the green felt bottom are dead giveaways. You can report it to John, but I think they dealt with these particular fakes many years back.

This is the funniest fake listing I’ve seen. Selling it as “smash & break”. Not sure if it’s a repaint, but the bottom felt has nothing on it.
That’s a relisting (by the buyer) of the dragon Khaziyra mentioned. I don’t like seeing auctions like those. They leave a bad taste in my mouth. There are better ways to handle problems on ebay than that.
I sent John an email on this link and he said that it’s fakes done in Mexico around 20 years ago.
So, Khaziyra’s link was the original ebay listing for the one I just found with the buyer ranting about getting a fake. The original listing showed country of manufacture as Taiwan, so that should’ve been a giveaway.
I found it odd that the purchasor who realized that they bought a fake, now thinks they’re going to recover their money re-selling it as a “smash & break”.

I wondered, it looks like a cross between the gargoyle unicorn and the grand unicorn, if you bring both pictures up you can see it, where would I send that? I can send it just to be sure.

This one doesn’t look like an infringement to me either – did John get back you?
I did this auction not to resell ( who would buy it?)it but to warn other buyers that may not belong here or look here like me or come here like me so that they too would not be taken it by this seller that thinks its okay to keep selling these fakes as the real thing. She has since stated in the end of her new listings for these– that she is not now claiming them to be real. Only because I put in a claim in on this. If I did nothing else I got her to put a disclaimer on the auction. An that was my intent.
My intent was not to be judged by the very forum that I belong to. But I should have known better because– let nothing what I thought was a good deed go unpunished without someone being critical of what I thought was the right thing to do. Warn others.
Which is the very reason I do not come here and look or say anything only to be criticized and judged my a member here that neither knows me or cares to know me. But thanks for again putting me in my place and giving me another reason not to come here.
My motto: If you can’t say anything nice don’t say it at all. An Ranting on my auction ? Really? Good bye.
