This ugly thing is back on ebay again
December 18, 2011 at 10:11 am #866154http://norfolk.craigslist.org/clt/2736618651.html
I saw this on my local Craigslist And it just doesn’t look right.
I figured better safe than sorry, just in case it is a fake/repaint.December 18, 2011 at 3:40 pm #866167http://norfolk.craigslist.org/clt/2736618651.html

I figured better safe than sorry, just in case it is a fake/repaint.Thanks for letting us know! I think this might be a legit peacock dragon, with bad photos to make him look darker and more ‘rainbowish’.

My art: featherdust.comDecember 20, 2011 at 4:18 am #866443I know you have several trademarks, I am going to guess that the name is among them, so in a title and description of an item to list it as Windstone is a violation as in: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ooak-daenerys-targaryen-game-thrones-dragon-eggs-drogon-life-size-windstone-/270877621761?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f11907e01#ht_6617wt_1093
For those not in the know one would assume this to be a Windstone dragon egg item. I hate when these show up knowing it is not a Windstone.
December 20, 2011 at 1:46 pm #866472Ah, you beat me to it. Yes, the seller is keyword spamming, and I’m reporting it as such. The whole last paragraph of the description is all dragon-related words, including Windstone and some others.
EDIT: Just found these two, by the same seller. It’s pretty obvious for keyword spamming. 🙁
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
December 20, 2011 at 3:00 pm #866475Keyword spamming, especially using brand names in keyword spamming, is against eBay’s rules and if we report these we can get the listing pulled.

Do you know of a way to get ebay to listen? There is another seller selling these “fairy” dolls that I’ve reported for keyword spamming numerous times. This person’s auctions became so numerous that I had to exclude the word “fairy” from my Windstone searches.

Same here! I reported them several times and eventually got fed up and excluded “fairy” as well. She’s got a whole paragraph of search words at the bottom of her auctions written in white on white!
My guess is, ebay makes way too much money off of her to bother cracking down.
December 21, 2011 at 6:06 am #866624I’ve been reporting those two sellers, dragon egg lady and elf doll person, constanstly now. Everytime a new auction comes up, I report it. Eventually, Ebay will do something, especially with so many people complaining. I am contemplating message the sellers for every mis-described item and asking them why the term “Windstone” is in their auctions…
January 27, 2012 at 9:28 pm #871378Seller says this is from Windstone, but I’ve never heard of Windstone doing mouse pads?
February 7, 2012 at 4:26 am #872740I emailed this to John as per instructions in the first post (along with link and screenshot), but this “black gold spectral” just does not look right! The eyes are completely wrong for starters, and the colors are off, and the finish isn’t right. 🙁

I could be wrong – but I’m pretty sure it’s a bad camera and REALLY dusty.
My black/gold male looks similar.

I think it’s just a bad pic . Looks normal to me .
February 7, 2012 at 4:04 pm #872766What about the eyes, though? Those aren’t spectral dragon eyes…
February 7, 2012 at 5:11 pm #872774I think they are spectral eyes, but they look peculiar because they are reflecting the flash and the photographer (the black dot in the middle). My first reaction was the same as yours, though!
