I found this one while browsing on Ebay:
November 11, 2011 at 6:00 pm #862200November 11, 2011 at 6:12 pm #862201those last two look like they either broke something off a Windstone and made a new bit or sculpted over the top of one….
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White
4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male GriffinNovember 11, 2011 at 6:27 pm #862206They are similar but not the same as Windstone .
November 12, 2011 at 7:02 am #862277these ugly ****s have been around awhile I think, like the dumbed down third cousins twice removed of REAL Windstones

December 3, 2011 at 1:06 pm #864280Have not reported it as it does not look like a fake, and it does say it is a Windstone. But with the dress code something looks weird to me on this one, not sure what could be done. It seems to be painted to cover up areas. I do not recall seeing any of the peacock mothers with that weird blue tone but maybe it is just the light or something. Not sure if this fits here or just a be warned elsewhere.
December 5, 2011 at 5:25 pm #864440These have got to be repaints. All black with orange eyes and different colored jewels.
Will try to find John’s email as well.
Edit: Found John’s email on first page of this thread and sent this link to him.

Yeah I just saw those Black ones on E-bay. Looks like someone just painted the whole thing black, not sure why anyone would want to do that LOL. And the listing has bids 🙁 even with the sad paint job.
December 8, 2011 at 6:48 pm #864940There was a thread about this. It’s possible they might be test-paint pieces given away by us a long time ago, but this can’t be confirmed. Hopefully whoever wins them can give a more definitive answer.
December 10, 2011 at 1:00 am #865085I contacted the seller to get more info. Would think if they where the test paints they would remember or at least know if they came that way. Did the test-paint say what they where anywhere?
December 10, 2011 at 7:44 am #865112A test paint probably wouldn’t have said test paint on it, if it was just a scrap piece that was given away to a worker or visitor.
