So weird. @ that site
I clicked on one of the sets made out of Nam’s pics ( Chapter 8, the end or whatever), and it was a weird little one-paragraph story or something. The comments were hilarious; those people write like they’re five years old. It kinda seems like these people are mis-using the site, though…seems the original intent was to have pictures of clothes from various websites so you could mix and match outfits and get opinions on whether they look good together. They claim to be the largest community of fashionistas on the web, heh. I’m not sure what fantasy art has to do with that…

Indeed. There is something sooo sleazy about stealing someone else’s art to turn a profit :nea: . Very un-cool :negative: .
March 9, 2010 at 9:45 pm #708816Just a reminder;
when you find something that might or might not be Fakes, Knock offs or Infringment, Please let us know if you did email John about it so he doesn’t get more emails about the same item.
Thank you 😉March 10, 2010 at 1:20 am #708817Blackdesertwind wrote:Just a reminder;

It was just a general reminder, it was not aimed at you. Hope you didn’t think that 😉March 20, 2010 at 5:48 am #708819April 1, 2010 at 1:52 am #708820Haven’t emailed John about it yet, but just found this on Etsy – anyone call this guy out yet?

April 1, 2010 at 2:24 am #708822AnonymousThis little hatchling in the gallery photo has something familiar about it. I DID report this to John.
Then after I reported it I thought omg, they aren’t even selling the item in the gallery photo – it took me many times reading and re-reading the auction to figure out WHAT the heck they are selling!! LOL It’s listed in jewelry, and the gallery picture shows a hatching pegasus drawing/painting/whatevering…….. anyway:

I have to laugh at my own ignorance here. I guess they aren’t doing anything wrong but that is a ROTTEN auction, if you ask me! Misleading to what you are even bidding on LOL

Let John know. Not only are they breaking the law, but they aren’t selling handmade items (or supplies to make things) on Etsy which is against their rules too!
They say they are hand cast in their description– if that is the case they are the direct sellers of the infringing material and John can go after them!Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com

-J R R TolkienApril 7, 2010 at 11:49 pm #708825I found these on ebay. They look awfully similar to Melody’s gargoyles. If these haven’t been addressed already can someone e-mail them to John?

Not doing anything wrong if selling witless fools a genuine 2′ Pegasus, that grows to be 10′ tall but actually is invisible and currently resides inside a cheap lump of ordinary 10/$1.00 necklace glass, for 19% off $29.99, plus shipping, can be referred to as “not doing anything wrong”.
Sorry. I can’t help it. These people just irritate me almost as much as the people who encourage them by sending them money. What burns me most is their returns policy: You can’t send spirits back for a refund, because it’s not fair to the spirits. It really is worrying to me to realise that there are people out there to whom that concept makes sense.
*sigh* Calm down, David!
