That was drag0nfeathers that happened to, with her Wind Wizard.
August 10, 2009 at 12:02 am #708634I thought it was her, but I did not want to say so, without being sure

It describes the sculpture as “detailed as Windstone”. Is that ‘keyword spamming’?
Anyway, just trying to help!
Good find abatos!
Not only does it closely resemble the lap dragon pose but it also has the gold accents and the similar green Windstone uses. 😡 A definite NO NO!
I’ll send it to John on your behalf with the link. 🙂Thank you very much Blackdesertwind! 🙂 I’m happy to help!

So detailed the backs of the wings have no details, LOL. 😆

I’m glad to hear that you thought it was an infringement too!
August 10, 2009 at 3:43 pm #708638I’d like to know how this person can think their OOAK can even be compared to a Wondstone?? Am I the only one that thinks this one is FUGLY??
August 10, 2009 at 10:00 pm #708639Not to mention the pose, and the legs especially, look an awful lot like the woodbabies made by A Midsummer Knight’s Dream.

Windstone collector in remission. 😉
August 11, 2009 at 12:33 am #708640You know I saw that and wondered about the same thing–although in the description they admit the scuplt isn’t a Windstone. Guess they feel they’ll cover themselves with that disclaimer. But they do say ‘detailed as a Windstone’ so as to get on the same page Windstones are. I was going to say something and I’m glad someone else has!
August 12, 2009 at 8:22 pm #708641Does this look like the young dragon to anybody but me?

August 13, 2009 at 12:17 am #708642Yes. I looked at the wings, tail, and feet.
August 13, 2009 at 2:28 am #708643Here’s another one
August 13, 2009 at 7:25 pm #708644Oh yeah. And the skunk looks like Pepe Le Pew!

Darjed I don’t think they would pose a problem since they really can’t be mistaken for a Windstone. The frog has the crown but doesn’t have the exact pose as the windstone. After all the frog prince has been around in books for a long time before Windstone. And the dragon doesn’t really look like a windstone color or scales either. So I don’t see a problem with them. 🙂
August 15, 2009 at 1:54 am #708646What do you guys think of this one:
I see a combination of a peacock scratching and male dragon.

:nea: No John wouldn’t think it’s any threat. Doesn’t look like a Windstone. The pose is different and people can still do green and blue dragons but not if it resembles the Windstone color patern.
