Oh good…I was racking my brains trying to remember who belonged to the white Spectral. He’s here, I even glued his wings back on, now I will shelve him until the others are done, but hey, he’s somewhat whole now.
Wolfen’s Spectral has a buddy, and it helps to have yours here so I can use him as reference to make sure I replace as much details on Wolfen’s as possible.
As I continue to work on Wolfen’s it is really astounding to realize just how much damage that poor dragon took, there are so many breaks and cracks to repair. I’ve got most of them, but there is still a lot of little bits to work on. I am so glad she’s a patient gal. I’m also out of the paints for Emerald, Karli (my 2 year old dd) spilled the lighter green, and I discovered I didn’t cap the darker green properly last time and it dried. 🙁 So now I need to ask Melody for more of that too.
I swear I’m brilliant, in a just about to blow up light bulb type of way sometimes!

thanks Kyrin… 🙂 there is no rush on him…i am just glad that he is there and not here right now…at least I know that he is away and safe from all the bad luck i’ve been having.
Just let me know when he’s ready to come home… 🙂

Are my white wizard and white pegasus and turtle still in the lineup somewhere? I hate to ask too, and there is no rush, either, I also watch your updates and I didn’t see them so I thought I’d check. I get embarrassed to ask when I know the pressure you are under, 😳 so I just get encouraged when I see them in the lineup somewhere. Thanks!

Oh sheesh, yes…forgot about those, yeah they are here, still packed, which is why I forgot them.
I knew I was forgetting something else! Sorry.
I’ll see if I can do an updated list later today so everyone knows where they are at. I hope to get some stuff cleared and ready to go for next week, just work and the weekend entertainments for the last couple weekends, this weekend will definately be busy, with the 4th, and Sagebrush Days happening. But I will try to get my butt in gear.

Pretty much at the end of July. Once all the pieces that are already here are done, I will declare my vacation officially begun. It’ll be about 2 weeks, so by the middle of August I plan to be accepting repairs again. I did call a halt to anything new coming to me until August starting the last day of June.
Exceptions are the pieces that are already in the mail on the way here, of which I know of 2 boxes coming.
For all other future repairs, I request that everyone hold on to them until August, then contact me and we’ll get things rolling.
I just need some space and time to clear the backlog. I am used to having maybe one or two in my possession at any given time, right now I have about 20 pieces here, 17 of which still need repairs. If I don’t ask for a halt, then I will continue to have this overwhelming pile of repairs looming over me as more keep coming in, so I cried, “Uncle” for a little while.
Rest assured, once I get these all cleared out, I will be more than happy to resume repair work once I’ve had a much needed break.
I’ve been repairing Windstones steadily for a full year now, with a sudden boom these last few months. It’s time for a vacation. 🙂 Also I need to get more Apoxie Sculpt and paints from Melody. The vacation will give me time to get those things, though the paints are already in the works, we’re waiting for the unpacking to commence so they can get to them.

That she still has to do

Some well earned rest & recreation
are heading Kyrins way
But she’ll be back repairing Windstones
One fine August day .oh Kyrin, sweetheart, darling, angelface…..Um You’ll be having a white male dragon sent to you from Wash. state I just bought off ebay for you to look over. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, but it’s closer to you if she doesn’t pack it too good. 😉

Today I was productive though…the Frog prince has a face! Yay! Much cheering!
The Emerald Peacock Fledgling has a toe.
The White hatchling has his head ridge again and the rock is no longer chipped. Yay me!
We just need to wait for paints!
Tomorrow I will likely work on a few others, but I might have a small problem. My darling wonderful 2 year old got into my Apoxie Sculpt and mixed the two components and what I was able to save was not much. 🙁
So I will be ordering some more this week, and I have threatened to break all her cute little fingers next time she touches it. She was sneaky too, must get that from me, she mixed them, then put the lids back on and stacked them where they were originally. Only thing giving me a clue something wasn’t right was the fact that one weighed a lot less than the other. OY!
Anyway, I plan to order some tomorrow.
