Sorry for the slow reply on this one. We decided you could make characters based on those people, but we’d rather not have their real names used. 🙂

Though, if you happen to have a character named “John” that isn’t meant to resemble the “real” John Alberti – that would be fine. It’s a common name and we’re not trying to stop you from using names that make sense in your story 🙂

Does the text for each illustration (or photo) have to be on the same page as the art? (And would text pages count towards the final count of ten? Or would only the art?) I only just thought of this and I had designed my work around having (when a book is open) having the text on the left side of a book spine when open and the illustration on the right.

The text can be on a separate page, BUT, the text-only page does count against your limit. So if you had 5 pages of text and 10 pages of art, you’d be over your limit. It’s 10-pages total, regardless of the content. 🙂
