I have them nearly done! Will take photos tomorrow or the next day – as soon as it stops raining outside.

Here are some snapshots of these two that I took yesterday!

I had a time of it getting the neckruff and under wing coverts on the griffin to go together. I am embarrassed to say that the back of the wings is my least favorite part to paint on pretty much any PYO! So it’s not my ‘best’ work.

Don’t freak out! These are just eyes I had spare that I put in this kirin so it didn’t have ‘black sockets’. They are not glued in!

I’ll let these guys dry over the weekend and get them shipped to WSC next week. WSC, is your address still the same??

Oh gosh I hope it’s not too embarrassing. Like I said the backs of the wings are the hardest part of nearly any Windstone to paint (for me). And I’m a little out of shape.. I think I’ve only painted a Windstone once since last April!

Oh they look totaly awesome so far! This is just what I was hoping for, a hodge podge of color and wonder that’ll come together in the end with everyone’s special touch!

                Lots of love to all!

I can promise there will be no criticisms.. I think that part is rather hard for every one. Like the backside of the curl on the small dragons tail. (oh gosh. me and my blaring typos -__- )
Hahaha! It reminds me of getting sketches from one of your favorite artists. The receiver is always,” OMGOMGOMG HAPPYNESS” and the giver is always(almost),” awe man, I could have done a better job on that thing.”

The Kirin’s face is so cute! I love it, and am happy that I will get to see Jennifer kirin work in person (the griffy doesn’t come to me). 😀

Yup, that kirin’s cute! I find the brown eyes go very well with this scheme. Even if more blue gets tied into it, brown eyes would do.

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

Wow, Nam’s work stands out, as usual.
