Prayers for my cousin – She's fine!

I just got word that she’s going into surgery in about 20 minutes, for a gall blader thing. I’m sure it’s routine and that everything will be fine, but I’m terrified. She’s 2 hours away, and I would be there but I just found out about it and our stupid car is in the shop…it’s not like it’d make it to Phoenix anyway…

So I’m terrified. She’s my best friend. Please pray for her.

She’ll be fine…it’s a pretty non invasive procedure these days and recovery is quick, in a week she’ll be the same as ever, with just a few diet restrictions.

Cut back on fatty foods since that is what the gallbladder helped to diguest…

*nods* I think she’s just getting a stone removed, not the whole thing…but I don’t know. It’s hard to get fully technical in a text message, which is what I got from her before she went under.

12 years ago I had a “bag of rocks” so they removed the whole thing.

If she was having pains like I did before I had it removed… be thankful that she is getting the surgery… I was sooooo happy afterwards! Those pains can HURT!
