I’m not worried. I personally can wait for him to be production :).

I don’t care much for him, to be honest. What I’m curious about it why his bidding is already so high? It says right in the description not to bid much lol. If he’s the smallest windstone yet, he’ll probably be like, $30 when he hits the store lol. (sorry, I think by money, not how special a piece is)
Good luck to anyone bidding for him!

Could be because he’s a “test paint”, he’ll come with a COA and a cute sketch from Mel. To so people the COA is more important than the sculpt.

                    Possible reasons for high bidding:

                    1. “Test” paint– the production ones might look just like this or they might not. For a good example take the Emerald Peacock OW dragons that went on eBay vs. the ones that were put into regular production. They were different enough that I’d be willing (if I had the money) to pay more for one of those.
                    2. “Special”– it comes signed and with a drawing on the COA. This is worth a lot to some, I imagine.
                    3. Impatience– I want it now! Some folks might be inclined to bid now to get one with certainty, rather than wait (the track record has had pieces take over 2 years to make into production item in the past…).
                    4. It’s eBay– people just get crazier there in general.

πŸ™ Oh man, I was so excited there for a sec but “hopefully this year” snuffed that out quick πŸ˜€ The fox reminds me of something personal so if I had the money, I’d be bidding in the “impatient/certainty” category. =P

We are really making these! Really! We got a bunch cast already. These will have stickers on the bottom instead of pads so I am just waiting for the stickers to get made.
