I am mostly curious to see if I am posting a reply correctly!
In case this is helpful to anyone else, my view of the site was very small & squished to the center looking. We (I didn’t do this on my own) changed my resolution setting in my control panel display settings and now it’s MUCH better (and everything else in my computer world looks bigger and better too!) What’s funny is that I keep finding myself leaning forward to read the screen when I don’t need to anymore!
March 17, 2011 at 10:05 pm #839960I’m replying….LOL!
The NEW website looks great! Now we all just need to get used to it! I am sure we will all be able to do that in no time!

March 17, 2011 at 10:21 pm #839963Unfortunately now that the website is all run on one node it is part of the formatting of everything on the Windstone site. I’m not sure if it can be changed or not but we can toss it in the suggestion pile when we’re ready.
If it can’t be changed, folks will sadly need to start posting photos that aren’t very wide…No avatars is a temporary bug, please read here: http://www.windstoneeditions.com/about-this-site

My art: featherdust.comMarch 17, 2011 at 10:23 pm #839964Okay changing username/passwords seems to be a universal problem and not just you. I’ll let Clay know.
The colors on this forum are the same as the old one… I wonder why you are having such trouble?? o_o

My art: featherdust.comMarch 17, 2011 at 10:54 pm #839965AnonymousThose items in the goldish color are very easy to read. Those that are a gray color vary from being somewhat hard to read to almost fading into the background. The items at the top right side of the page (My Account, Log In, View Cart) are the worst; they are almost invisible. There just isn’t enough contrast.
March 17, 2011 at 11:00 pm #839966Hmm, I can read everything okay, but I can see how some might find the darker grey text difficult to see. As for the rest, this will just take some getting used to, I guess. >.>;
March 17, 2011 at 11:16 pm #839969I think I love it!
I had to write Clay because I couldn’t log in earlier; turns out I apparently had three different user names; I know when the original site had launched I joined and posted, left for years and came back – that’s what happens to a feeble mind. 🙂 I think this is beautiful!
March 17, 2011 at 11:51 pm #839974oh my gosh! the posts are numbered!! Awesome! Little things like this make me happy. LOL… It’s so much easier to tell people on which post to find things (instead of what page).
The store looks fantastic! I love the pretty icons for each category (I’m a visual person).
Is there an equivalent to a “view new posts” button somewhere??
Only one complaint… I’m am disliking the reply to post option button. It makes the posts way too narrow and hard to read (and I used the “post reply” button at the bottom, too… instead of the reply one directly under my post).
Otherwise, I am liking the new sleek layout with all the navigation in one spot. *thumbs up*
March 17, 2011 at 11:57 pm #839975I’ve been checking out all the little nooks and crannies of the site. Yes, indeed! There’s a  icon! LOL!!

The numbering will be a little different depending on a person’s thread view settings.
Could you post a screenshot of the reply button problem you are having? I don’t think I have the same problem.
March 18, 2011 at 12:07 am #839977Jen, the color problem on log in, my account and maybe some others is being worked on as I talked to Clay about it since I can’t see my log in due to green/yellow background and white/cream lettering. I told Clay I have Firefox but was wondering if anyone had similar colors but with a different browser.
I’ll wait for the shakedown cruise to be over before I whine about too much else.
March 18, 2011 at 12:16 am #839981Bwahahaha! That’s awesome, Bayou! I miss the view new posts function too 🙁

awww, booooo… So much for that. LOL!
I’m not having a technical problem with the reply buttons, I just don’t like the tiling effect and how it squishes everyone’s post visually when you reply to a post instead of the topic. Does that make sense?
March 18, 2011 at 12:55 am #839987There is a way to mess with that on your screen; at the bottom of a thread there is a drop down called “Comment Viewing Options”. If you mess with it, it’ll change the layout of the comments and posts. Does that help?
