I’ve done some volunteer with a ferret rescue group and one of the ladies had 8 of her own plus some she was fostering 😯 She had a special room in the house that was escape proof and designated as the ‘ferret’ room!
At one point I was looking into moving into a place that was no pets and I considered having to get rid of mine.. I talked to a woman from the ferret society there about them taking my ferrets and she said they would if I couldn’t find them homes, but she also had 8 and she was fostering something like 24… wow…

I wanted a ferret when I was younger, but now I would not enjoy the smell. They are cute… when they are someone elses! (Kinda like kids, hu? )

Not at all. As a matter of fact, we just got back from a movie. Brige to Terabitia?? Something like that… it was horrible. I cried the whole last half.
My ferrets have taken over the basement. They get lots of excercise although I have 2 cages down there. Not all of them get along…I never intended to have that many but people kept just abandoning them at work.
But I am looking for homes for the 4 the woman left with me. It’s a shame – they are nice ferrets. Two gorgeous cinnamons, a sable and a white with black eyes. Hopefully I’ll find good homes (i.e. NOT my own) for them.

I just saw a trailer for that somewhere! What’s so sad about it, Ski? Because I was thinking of seeing it with Stef…
when I went to see it I watched a whole bunch of people leave with their little kids at what would have been a happy ending had they ended it there… you know before he gets home and finds out she is dead…
