I’m repairing a broken Mother dragon and I need some suggestions for paint colors to match the colors on a brown dragon. Just the colors from the dark brown of the neck area to the light brown on the top of her head.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions for filler in small areas. Apoxie Sculpt seems a bit bulky to use in areas where a chip may have come off, but just painting over it won’t hide it.

For matching brown paint, Spark might know; she fixed and matched my brown mother and I honestly have no idea where the chips were anymore.

I use the regular drywall plaster to fill in cracks (the wet type that comes in huge containers that I can barely lift 😀 ). You can easily put some on and wipe the excess off, even when it’s dry. And the existing paint makes it even easier.

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

Good luck fixing it. I wish I could give you some suggestions.

I’ve got all her pieces glued back together, I just need somethng to fill in the crevices. If I’m unable to do a decent job of matching her colors, I may just have to repaint her totally. I’m currently working a PYO dragon and I’m not quite happy with my results, but he’s still a work-in-progress, so we’ll see what happens.
