Are you sure you’re not just worried her attempts at barring wings will turn out the same as yours, Ski? No offense, of course.

Me, too. How about an amberina griff? nudge nudge lol!

        What’s amberina, lamorte?

Amberina shades from red through orange to yellow or amber, something like Sunhawk’s Sunbeam griffin.

Is it a stone, or just a name for a type of coloring? I-ve never heard the term before.

As far as I know, the term is only used in glassware, but I could be wrong. Amberina glass made in the 1800’s shaded from fuschia to amber, contemporary amberina shades from true red to bright yellow. There are also examples of pinkish red to pale yellow. If you have time, search on eBay for amberina glass.

My pleasure. I love talking about glassware. I don’t have time to join another forum, though. lol

I hear ya. I-ve been a member on another forum since long before Windstone ever reached me, but there I-m mostly a listener, not a talker, so I only visit it for technical reference. This is all the forum I have time for.

I just looked up amberina and I must say, I love that coloring. Gotta do a griff like that some day. It would look good on a dragon, too, once they bring out more than just blue eyes.
