I love that, it is amazing, as much as the pheonix is one of my favorite sculps, for some reason I have only ever done one of them.. I love that scheme, it would be cool to see it interpreted on another piece.
The Phoenix is one of my favourites as well 🙂
I already did this colour scheme on a Griffin (he is also somewhere in this threat) and I plan to try it on a wolf. I think this could look pretty cool there as well.January 22, 2014 at 7:41 am #907966Wow, SO cool!
January 22, 2014 at 4:37 pm #907972I normally don’t like the Phoenix or Griffin PYO sculpts, but this color scheme and painting of your Phoenix is really beautiful! Great Job! 🙂

May 22, 2014 at 9:13 pm #912962How do you take such gorgeous photos.
That would be because of my extreme phototaking skills… I wish 😉 No, my husband has a very good camera, a Canon powershot G15, that makes really good photos especially with good weather like we had today!
And thank you Hannah! I´m very glad you like her!
May 22, 2014 at 9:21 pm #912955I´ve just finished a new phoenix, called Phaesia, inspired by a male common pheasant.
The toughest part with this one was the stone. First I tried to make it a very light colour with some pastel-highlights. But that just did not work. So I tried painting it like a normal grey stone but was not happy with it either. And then I found this fake moss that you can use for modelbuilding and thought “why not” 🙂 I think it worked very well. Hope you like it, too!
