Would there be an option to use fuzzies we already have? Or if you want this to be a home made fuzzy swap, maybe we could do a separate swap for ones who just want to trade out fuzzies they got from Windstone.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
March 18, 2014 at 8:56 pm #909960How about having more than one Fuzzy event? Maybe divide the ideas up into two or three different activities and just do one activity at a time.
A simple Fuzzy Trade could be one – where folks could trade fuzzies that they’ve received from Windstone.
And I love the idea of a Fuzzy Swap where participants make a fuzzy to send to someone else! I cannot wait to see what breeds develop in other environments!
And traveling fuzzies might be yet another event – they love to travel (which is why they stow away in our packages).
March 18, 2014 at 9:10 pm #909962I love Susie’s idea here. I think the different events would let people do what they want to do without as much fuss.
I’ll offer to host the home made fuzzy event and the traveling fuzzies.
March 18, 2014 at 10:38 pm #909966The Make-A-Fuzzy swap would be people making fuzzies, sending them to you, and then you would mix the fuzzies up and send them out? Or would we each get a person and send the fuzzy directly to her (or him)?
March 18, 2014 at 10:46 pm #909967I would do all of them. I would just have to get some fabric and beads to make fuzzies.

March 18, 2014 at 11:13 pm #909969I am up for all of them and am pulling together a Fuzzy Passport right now. It will be a quad fold and may be 2 pages, not sure yet. I’ll post a pics when I am done, and when finalized, it will be available through deviantart and maybe google docs if I can figure out how it works.

March 19, 2014 at 1:24 am #909991I am up for the make-a-fuzzy, I have had to sew buttons back on my shirts plenty of times. XD And I am sure I can find some fuzzies hiding out in my craft drawer or in the aisles of various fabric stores.
I don’t think Shelldon would be willing to part with any of my Windstone fuzzies.
I have to think on the Traveling Fuzzy one.
March 23, 2014 at 1:38 am #910325I bought a square of fabric to join in the Make-a-Fuzzy; would the Travelling Fuzzy be a bigger one so it can collect keepsakes, like the Blue/Purple/Red are? And can we make a Travelling Fuzzy to send out, as opposed to being a stop along the way for one?
This little piece of felt will make a LOT of fuzzies even if I make a giant one also; in all honesty would it be okay to send extras on to Susie to rehome? I got the felt because the thought of a quarter yards worth of fuzzies from the smallest piece of fake fur available scared me. Maybe we can send Susie the extra fabric and beads if she’d prefer lol.
March 23, 2014 at 1:53 am #910326The Travel Fuzzie can be any size you wish to make it, large or small. And by all means you can make one to send out without having to host one yourself, we should have no trouble finding it an address as it’s first stop along it’s trip.
March 24, 2014 at 5:50 am #910410How is this idea?
and for those who can’t or do not want to read upside down..
I used laundry2011’s passport as a reference, and if people like it, I could also make a colored version for those interested. The colored, if done, would be hand colored on pastel marbled paper and rescanned on to the computer. Kinda like the inner pages of a real passport. I would make this available for download both as a document and a PNG. Both colored and black and white could be available..
…and MS Word is a pain in butt to make a four fold with. Took me 5 1/2 hours of fighting with it yesterday to format it correctly and make the words show up correctly without being chopped or facing the wrong direction. and then my picture didn’t want to show up and being horrible in the MS Paint program that took me over 2 hours **…grumble..grumble**
Any feedback?

Anything goes or is there a minimum and maximum size for the ‘Swap’ fuzzies? I would be interested in joining the Fuzzy Swap, but could this question be clarified? Also, can any material be used for a Fuzzy? Plush, Sherpa, etc..?
