Somebody asked what was on my car.
When I worked in Ark,got off at 2am,you never knew what you would find in winter.I figured this out real quick but used cardboard boxes instead.When everyone else is still scraping, I’m warming up and creeping out the parking lot with clear windows.Put it on windshield,go to work,come out,yank it off and voila!!Clear windows.Keep duct tape handy to put a strip across the door key hole for the same reason.

What I do to keep our birdbath water liquid during our Northern Winters is to use a heating element that plugs into AC and heats up just enough to keep water from freezing, so it does not harm the critters. It looks like a flat iron and has an insulated cord. Unfortunately I have not had a chance to get it out so my birdbath is currently empty or I’d post a pic.

Oh nooo that truly sucks.Hope it was insured.
That happened to my daughter a couple of winters ago.The tree fell perfectly across BOTH of their vehicles right next to house.I would have set down and cried.My daughter got mad,grabbed the chain saw and ripped that tree a new one😂 but she did get a nice black Lincoln out of the deal.Every act matters.No matter how small💞

Melody says, “A survey of the trees down from ice storm” … “It was a scary night! We were wakened around 3:00 am when the first tree crashed right outside our bedroom window…then we heard the sound of trees all around us crashing down. We slept on the kitchen floor, thinking it was the safest place in the house.” … “Another giant tree missed our house by about three feet! Crushed Griffin’s car though…” … “It is a huge mess. The tree guys are so busy now it will be a long time before they can get to us! We will have a lot of wood.”

Melody says, “It has been raining so much that this is the first time I got out to photo the damage around the place. … [the car] is wrecked. I don’t think it can be fixed, and the inside got full of water. We have a truck he is driving now, (when it runs) but we’re looking for another car! Really a bummer, that white car of his was a great car.”
