Uhhhh…It sounds familiar…but I can’t place it. A hint? A little one? ha-or I might google it! 😀
Hint: The line was uttered by a young, skinny Kevin Bacon while bent over in a pair of tight whities during a frat hazing ritual- though he was hardly the star. It was a cult hit and definitely a favorite with ppl now in their 40s (though Im in my mid to late 30s… 36 going on 37). There was a funny scene in it with a horse and an obnoxious drill sergeant who got dumped because his white steed was purposely hit on the rump by a flying golf ball. Later, the horse had a heart attack due to the sounds of blanks going off from a gun (it was a funny scene; nothing gorey) during another frat brother/pledge prank (dare).
Another notorious line: “Is that a pledge pin, on your uniform?!”
Youll get it. And I hope Im not going to get a slap on the wrist for getting off topic here (see how gun shy I am from other boards. They have really done a number on me psychologically that I am so paranoid to even tangent out just a little in good fun.
Ah, haven’t seen that one. By the way, I received my baby pegasus in the mail today, and it is GORGEOUS!!! I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was signed by Melody!! Yay! Melody-do you know if you plan to paint a male pegasus in the future? If you know you will I will even send payment now just knowing that it is in the works! I don’t mean to be a pest, so if I am you can slap duct-tape on my mouth! oops..I mean…around my typing hands!

What is chicken adobo? it sounds like soup! Yummy!
Chicken Adobo
INGREDIENTS
* 1 1/2 cups water
* 1 cup distilled white vinegar
* 4 tablespoons soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
* 4 cloves garlic, crushed
* 1 Lg Onion, chopped
* 2 tablespoons salt
* 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
* 2 or 3 tablespoons vegetable oilDIRECTIONS
1. In a large pot, put in oil, onions and garlic, saute until onions are translucent. Then add the water, vinegar, soy sauce, peppercorns, and salt. Mix together, add chicken pieces and simmer over low heat (uncovered) until chicken is cooked through and tender (25 to 35 minutes).
2. Remove chicken from pot and brown in oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
3. Return chicken, with oil/juices, back to pot with reserved sauce. Cover and simmer over medium heat until desired amount of sauce is yielded.This is mostly original recipe from the net, however, we really like the onion addition, so that is the variation we use when we make this.
Served over white rice it is really good, and you can substitute the chicken pieces with chicken breast or even pork if you wish. If replacing with breast or pork, I would sear them in a pan before putting in the sauce to skip step 2.

can i just say putting in ‘bug porn’ to google’s image search retrieves reallly scary results. and i am so happy the images are tiny. 😳 😯
