I think I’m about 40% now, I don’t know if I like it or hate it, but I’m sure it will look better the closer I get to finishing it.

Yea, me too! Most of my favorites have that stage, so it’s almost a good sign sometimes π

“Prior to this date, so on August 26, Drag0nfeathers will send out a message to everyone, asking if the piece is ready.”
So, soon, we shall also be shipping :>

Yeowch, I’ve only started on the details and haven’t touched the wings. Good thing it’s gonna rain all week after today so I’m not tempted to hit the road instead of working on my PYO!
August 24, 2009 at 11:07 am #772759Well, you do technically have until September 2nd to show her a picture, but I say 3 days because you can show her on the 26th if you’re already done (which I am). e.e; So don’t worry! π

Alright! Finally…I suppose I should go out and take finished photos. π³
August 24, 2009 at 11:22 pm #772761Gonna say. I’m not quite done and I thought I had until the second to show a pic and until the 6th to ship.
August 25, 2009 at 12:25 am #772762Good thing the weather is finally clearing up. I couldn’t spray sealant all weekend, all thanks to Hurricane Bill stalling the cold front that went through the Northeast. Stupid, stupid hurricane.
Thankfully, the weather should be fine for the next few days. I was able to work a bit today and take off ALL the masking fluid I had on the body and could use sealant… until I ran out. π
Pretty much managed to antique a husky pyo though, so the time was not wasted. I’ll be done on or just after the 26th with my swap piece, but definitely by the end of the week, since the weather looks to be cooperating for more than a day *thankfully*.
August 25, 2009 at 12:45 am #772763I’m done with mine–I had ordered some things for it and they will be here tomorrow! It looks fine–for my first pyo swap! Heck, I would even keep it if my partner didn’t like it! A quick question for those who are veterans to this–if I have a name for my pyo swap piece, should I print it on the felt pad? Is that acceptable? Do have an appropriate name for it but wasn’t sure I could put it on there. π

Of course! I’ve done that with most of my pieces actually and I’ve received pieces with names printed by their painter on the felt pad as well. π
August 25, 2009 at 4:20 am #772765I name alot of my pieces when I paint them. Some I don’t because I cannot think of a good name, and I leave it up to their owners. π But if you have a name for him, then by all means put it on his felt too! π
