I… don’t even have a full base coat on mine yet :X
Haha! Mine is still in the unopened box. 😆
I think I’ve been holding off because I’ve had a strong idea going through my head for a certain color scheme for the sculpt that is totally opposite from what my swap partner has asked for. I keep hoping that I will see another of the PYO type show up in the store so I can buy it and do both.
August 2, 2009 at 2:48 pm #772707Yays! Finished mine last night! I’m very pleased with it! 🙂

August 2, 2009 at 4:11 pm #772708Well I must say that I’m done torturing mine with paint. It isn’t what I had envisioned in my mind, but I guess I’m not alone with this. It looks okay–on a scale of 1 to 10 I would say it is about a 5. Not that great but not really bad either. I don’t have the finishing clear coat on it and that usually really pops the colors out. Just need to let it dry for a couple of days and put the first clear coat–then do finishing touches and then another clear coat. Then set jewels if I see fit.
I hope my swapee likes it–I would display it personally. I’ll explain to her this is my first swap and I’m sure she’ll understand–heck, I would! If a newbie got me, I would display their piece and show pics of it! You’ll all see it in time. 🙂

We don’t mind the newbie pieces here! 😉 I love all my griffins! 😀August 3, 2009 at 6:44 am #772710I haven’t even ordered my PYO yet; gotta wait for the CC to clear. Could some kind soul remind me when the ship date is?
August 3, 2009 at 8:09 am #772711I believe ship date is set for Sept 6th or 7th…Or in that area. 🙂
August 3, 2009 at 2:29 pm #772712Ship date is Sept. 7, but you have to send Drag0n a pic by the 2nd, so basically, you have until the 2nd to finish your painting.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

August 5, 2009 at 5:19 am #772718I’m about probably about 15% done with mine, but I like the way it is coming out. This one will probably be hard to part with, but I always do my best work when it’s for someone else.
