I feel so bad now. I still have to order my piece, but in order to do so I have to update my paypal account. I’m having problems with it because I’ve moved and the old phone number is no good, but the new home phone won’t be working until tomorrow. When I called customer service they said my address on my credit/debit card probably hadn’t been changed by the bank…I thought I did that online…Guess not, so now I have to drive 30 minutes to the closest branch of my bank because I can’t call them to update stuff because I don’t know the phone password. 😥 At least updating the Windstone store address and the ebay addresses was simple this time.
Well I need to strip and redo my piece. The more I look at it the uglier it gets, in my opinion… 😆
Acetone should work fine for stripping the paint, right? Water kinda failed last time I tried, and I have reagent grade Acetone (100% pure) here so…
I dunno about the acetone…I used water, and it had been sitting for about 4 moths half painted. It makes the peice wet, and I used a soft bristled tooth brush to softly scrub away the paint in the crevices. Dunno if that helps, but I am jsut leary of the whole acetone thing. 😯
Acetone will remove the paint for sure. Just be careful with the amount you use.

Like Purpledoggy said, she went to the store, PYO dragons were gone, yet the next day (or so), some were back in store.

Well it worked (also copious amounts of water were used) most of the paint is gone, enough for me to work with. Now I’m rethinking what I am going to do… I’m kinda stuck…. bleh.

Susie posted. They are out of pyo dragons until casting is back up. I ordered another sculpt at this point, since I don’t need a second one to sell out on me at this point. I think I figured out a way to incorporate my idea onto the new sculpt. I had the other one all clear in my head too *sigh*.

Ok, if people need to rethink or if your order takes longer than expected to get to you (my order was just completed today, and I ordered a week ago 😯 ), we *can* push the ship date back. Let’s see how many people are in total panic before we do that, though.

I’m one who has to rethink. I had a hard enough time coming up with the one dragon idea I had and now I have no clue.I’m not sure when my shipment is going to show up…I have a back up but I’d really like to do my first idea.
If the griffins sell out, I have one I’m willing to sell. I think it has orange eyes. I’d have to check it again to be sure though.
