February 8, 2012 at 3:42 am #872870So pretty. I love the soft pink and the stripes look great.
February 8, 2012 at 4:22 am #872801It’s finale finished! Koishii did an amazing job on the stripes! at certain angles they seem to disappear π he has just a light dusting of rainbow sparkle finish just enough to give a little extra sparkle when he’s in the sunlight :3 I also used a vss golden/orangish sapphire for his tail gem π

February 9, 2012 at 3:08 pm #873035The collaborative pieces you two do always amaze me. Your rainbow keeper with the magic paint, the blending is so rich. Your right, it sparkles something fierce! π The other keeper “Seashell” ( the name is fitting. π ) came out lovely as well! Nice choice of colors they work great together and the stripes are great as always! π

Thank you π Actually This guy is called Sakura tiger blossom :3 not seashell. lol
February 9, 2012 at 8:56 pm #873078Very nice, as always GF (and koi). The shading on your work is always lovely!
February 11, 2012 at 7:44 pm #873306Yeah, we need to start putting the pyo names at the head of our photo posts. The keeper is call Sakura, as GF said. Sakura is japanese for Cherry Blossom. This keeper is painted in the colors of the blooming cherry tree flowers.
He does have some sea shell tones, but we most likely would have done a much lighter and softer blend of pinks, peaches and lots of interference. This guy actualy has a lot of darker pinks on him. The photos over exposed some parts of him.
