🙁 I’m so sorry to hear that, BDW! Our cat has a terrible habit of chewing wires, so I can definitely understand your frustration! I hope your kitty is alright. *Hugs tight*
It’s not like if you can take away the wires…..now that is frustrating! 😕 what to do?
Raven started to be sick again this morning :puke: ….but no pink fluid.
December 30, 2009 at 5:27 pm #797887Oh noes! 🙁
Yes it’s quite frustrating! The only thing we’ve found that works is to push her away from the wire and spray her with water until she runs off. She’s never gone for very long though. LOL!

March 6, 2010 at 3:29 am #797888Raven was sick again and there was blood mixed in. 🙁
I’ve used coco fibers for my strawberry finches to build a nest and noticed that Raven passed on in his stools about two days ago. He was also sick a couple of days ago and had one there too.
This time the pink color was a little more pronounced then before in december.
I’m worried!
I’ll try to contact the vet tomorrow.
Why does it always happen on a friday 🙄March 7, 2010 at 1:11 am #797889Good Luck
March 9, 2010 at 9:51 am #797890Sorry to hear about Raven’s pain. Is he doing alright?

Thank you.
🙁 No he’s not. I have to bring him to the vet since he’s still coughing up blood.
My son is also worried about his cat. Tell me he doesn’t want him to die. 😥
I need money to help pay for it so I’m selling some Windstone.
Her’s the link:

March 9, 2010 at 10:54 am #797892Oh dear. I do hope that everything turns out alright. *prays for nothing serious to occur*
March 10, 2010 at 11:25 am #797893Raven was up all night. He kept on going to his litter box but when I would go see there was noting in there. I lost count of how many times he was there within an hour. He was also sick and it was dark brown.
This moring after I feed him his dry food mixed with water he did a nickle size pee. Not good! He’s blocked. 🙁 So I’ll take off work and call the vet to see if I can bring him in. I know I already see the $$$$. But I don’t want to lose him. 😥
I’ll ask the vet if I can make payments, not sure he’ll want too but I’ll try to make him uderstand that I only work part time because of Michel and make only a 3 digit per month. I’ll see what he says.
I’ll keep you guys posted.March 10, 2010 at 2:01 pm #797894I hope that you’re able to do payments with the vet… I know they can get expensive. 🙁
March 10, 2010 at 2:45 pm #797895🙁 I hope they’re able to quickly diagnose and heal whatever is affecting the poor fellow!
March 10, 2010 at 3:14 pm #797896Awww dang! 🙁
March 10, 2010 at 4:05 pm #797897i hope you can get him in soon! blocked urinary tracts in male cats can be a very fatal situation…….. unless seen by a vet asap. i hope you can make it in time. *fingers crossed*
March 10, 2010 at 6:19 pm #797898I sure hope Raven gets OK keep us posted.
March 11, 2010 at 1:32 am #797899I brought Raven to the vet today and left him there so they could run tests and care for him. I cried on the way there thinking “oh no not again…please I don’t want to come back with him in a bag.” I was thinking my son didn’t even say goodbye to him. I couldn’t go through that. 😥
I wanted to stay but they said it would take time and I should go home.
My dad came over and we did some work in the appartment so that kept me busy.
At 2:30PM the vet called. Good news (in a way) He’s blocked and can’t make his stools pass. So that means no tumour or something like that, to me it’s good news but at the same time it’s not. He got an Xray and it didn’t show anything abnormal but it did show that he has alot of stools packed in there. That explain why I thought he couldn’t urinate. Every time he would strain to pass the stools what little urine was in him would come out. There was alot of hair in his stools and vomit that I collected for the vet. That he explained would cause blockage.
He did say with what he’s been eating (plastic plants, coconut fibers) really irritated him and the fact that he’s blocked alone could cause him to through up blood and have some in his stools.
So now we wait to see if he passes them or not tonight. They said that the laxative they gave him should work and that on the way home or not to long after he should pass them.
That has yet to happen. It’s 8:30PM and still noting. I’m very worried. He keeps on going to the litter but noting happens. It’s like it was durring the night last night. Guess that means no sleep again tonight. And if I do sleep it will be difficult to monitor who went to the little box if there is stools in there. Before you say it, no I can’t seperate the two cats from each other. My female cries really loud if they are and that disturbs the next door neighbor (landlady). 🙄 So frustrating.
I’m still not convince that there is not another problem with Raven.
The bill right now amounts to $300 🙁 I hope he gets well because I can’t afford this already, the reason why I’m selling some Windstones.
I’ll keep you postedMarch 11, 2010 at 3:20 am #797900So frustrating to have a sick fur baby! And expensive too! You want them to get better and hope they get better and wait and wait and wait and they do get a little better but then something else comes up. I hope Raven passes those stools soon so you both will have a load off your mind!
