Actually, mine looks almost exactly like mashubert’s (above) except with more black on the ears and tail tip.
Sounds just like one I would love! I have a multicolored one up for trades if you are interested! ^_^ *hopes*

He is mostly grey, there is some red on his face and along his tail/haunches. He has black markings on his ears. I love the fact that his ears are white on the inside, it’s just too cute!
Here’s the reddish-brown fox that I received in a trade, thanks to another forum member. She’s a pretty close match to the colors of my Somali cat, Juno.
Still really not liking mine if anyone is up for a trade, I think I like about all but one or two less them the one I got.

This is my first fennec – first pebble anything, really. He arrived yesterday. OMG I was not prepared for how totally cute he is! I mean, I’ve seen plenty of pictures but he is just so much cuter in person when you can hold him in your hand! Of course, I was so excited about him I promptly dropped him and chipped his ear.
But he’s still adorable and, really, I hardly notice it. Gives him character.Totally love this little guy! And just had to say so!

A note of warning on that… them pebbles are awesome to hold and to play around with in your hand – particularly the fennec, since he’s so small.
Well, for a while, I took to having my tan fennec in my hand, rubbing with my thumb on the back of the head when I was watching movies on my computer.
Admittedly, I do have somewhat sweaty hands, but still…
Flecks of paint came off! So now I just pat him on the ears.

I actually ordered an Fennec in anticipation of when I am going to be flying next year – specifically so that I can have him in my hands as a “worry stone”! He will be my second Sand Fox and I ordered him soully for this purpose just in case he gets damaged or the paint begins to rub off

So I won’t get to see it until Sept. 4th. My brother was visiting my mom when it came in though, and he opened it and said it was brownish….wouldn’t send me a pic though! lol so I have a long wait until I get to post pics of mine.
