So today I got this little guy. I am amazed he managed to make it in one piece from Canada. Not double boxed and hardly any real padding to speak of. 😮 I am just glad it wasn’t a larger piece or I am sure he would have arrived in several pieces. But hey buying things off Ebay is always a gamble. Anyway, he is a cutey I think the color is ruby. Someone tell me if I am wrong.
Yes those are kitty feet in the picture. My cat Nikodemus likes his photo taken so he tries to make his way into all photo sessions as you can see.
He also was trying to escape his tyrant of a little brother…

I am waiting on ummmm…five more. 😀 First up is my Mother Dragon in Patina…she is soo pretty. I don’t think the picture captured her like she is. It seems a bit brighter to me then with the naked eye. She is a gorgeous dragon though…
(SNIP)I personally think the copper patina dragon is MAGNIFICENT! And, while I am trying like all heck to NOT get any dragons, I have been so very tempted with this one. If her eyes were GREEN, I think I wouldn’t be able to resist. I wish we could select the eye colors sometimes. That should be an option for every sculpt 😡 Leave all the eyes off and during order, select eye color. I know there would be two items sold in a heartbeat for me. :/
Your copper patina is beautiful 🙂 (except those red eyes LOL) LOL sorry!! 😡

YEP YEP that’s a Ruby Hatching, very pretty ruby colour, too!!
And LOL at Merlin, how freakin’ adorable!
April 27, 2010 at 2:22 am #811725Thanks Poems! I like the copper patina dragon even with her red eyes, but I have to agree with you green eyes would be amazing. It would be nice if we could choose the eye color. It is amazing the difference just eye color can have on them. 8) I like the little ruby guy too. Such a pretty color. I wouldn’t mind a few others in ruby. 🙂 …but it must wait I already have others I am after when I replenish my funds. XD
April 27, 2010 at 5:08 pm #811726Congrats raincry! 😀 You`re a new collector as well? I guess you`re just as crazy as me… 😉
Very nice dragons. I believe the Copper Patina dragons could look very cool with turquoise eyes, like the old warrior on ebay had…
Your cats sounds very cool! 8)And then my new dragon… Finally she`s home! 🙂 It took her 21 days to arrive. I was so damn worried…
My Amethyst coiled mother dragon arrived in excellent condition. I`ve added some pics:Here she is together with her Peacock coiled mother friend:
April 27, 2010 at 5:16 pm #811727I don’t personally like the amytheist but that coiled mother is beautiful. Congrats! I might have to think about getting a coiled mother in that color

Thanks! 🙂 There`s several colours I like better than the amethyst as well, but yeah, this one is very pretty!

Your cats sounds very cool! 8)Yep! I’m a new collector. I had seen them through the years and then the other day I saw one and decided it was time to get one and then one turned into two and yeah thus far I have bought seven with two others on hold for me till payday 😈 Other then putting gas in my car and restocking all my animals food supply, I pretty much spent my last paycheck on them. 😳 I love the coileds don’t have any of those yet. Very pretty! I really want an old warrior too, but I will have to hold off too many birthdays next month to buy for. Silly people and their birthdays interrupting my Windstone collecting! XD

Haha… XD I know the tendency… They`re too hard to resist! First time I ever saw Windstones (a website) I remember really, really wanting several sculpts, but I managed to resist and ended up buying none. After buying my first two Windstonedragons for lower prices several months later I realized how beautiful they really are and started to buy more and more, like addicts do… At first I gave myself limits on how much money to spend… I still have limits, but I`m willing to bid much higher on a piece I want badly than I was at first… Now I have 24 sculpts and I`m waiting for 4 to arrive, including the emperor on layaway… 😛 I don`t have an OW yet either 🙁 WANT, WANT, WANT! :shout:
April 27, 2010 at 7:14 pm #811731MD… that amethyst is just stunning! what a beautiful color on a beautiful sculpt! congrats 🙂

April 29, 2010 at 7:23 pm #811733Yay! I made out like a bandit (more or less) for my B-day. My griffin chicks finally have a momma. Still need to get a daddy but that’s for another day. Found a beautiful unicorn print and got a discount on it because it was dinged in the corners. I also bought a RF spectral that had a few flaws on it. I couldn’t get a discount on him 👿 . I originally intended to get a Gold Spectral, but surprisingly, I really liked him in the RF. Plus, sometimes I will buy a Windstone that is a little shop-worn just so he won’t get more damaged in that environment. Sort of a ‘rescue’ mission if you will 😉 . I wonder if I’m the only one who does that  ….
Sorry for the crummy pic of the print.
April 30, 2010 at 1:26 am #811734purpleturtle: Personally I would not intentionally buy a worn one just to save it from a bad environment, but your spectral looks gorgeous in the photos! The griffin and the print looks beautiful as well! Congrats! 🙂
Here`s my adorable new Emerald hatching Emperor together with his sister (she desperately needs to be cleaned 😛 ):
April 30, 2010 at 3:28 am #811735AnonymousLook – I just bought a Slate Grulla Unicorn! My intent was to have it face my Black Griffin, and I clearly need to rearrange my stuff so it doesn’t distract from what’s on the shelf below and I JUST got them arranged! Aaaargh! No room, no room. I remember when we built that wall of shelves, husband assembled it all on the floor in ONE piece (shelves weren’t up of course) and we lifted that entire thing up and slid it into the spot and it actually WORKED. One of the few times something worked during remodelling LOL Oh, I should’ve posted the entire wall so you would know how difficult that really was 😉 Maybe next time!

Quote:I know, it was a silly thing to do 😳 . But in this case it was also a matter of for the need for instant gratification 👿 .
BTW – love the Hatchers, Especially the empress 😀 .
Poems – Congrats on your lovely Unicorn. I’m really loving the color 😉 . -
