I finally got the one piece I’ve been wanting for a long time, the Amethyst Male dragon. 🙂 It was well worth the wait, this guy is stunning! That shade of purple is so electrifying it looks like he is glowing inside the curio cabinet. 😀
Did you do something funny to your pictures machineguts? To me he looks nothing like the one in the store photo.
Just different lighting, I suspect. 🙂

My art: featherdust.comYes I’m sure I use different lighting than Windstone. All I do is lean my lamps over the table with a black backdrop for my photos. 🙂 The only thing I do to my Windstone photos is crop them and run auto levels, which I’m sure most people do with their photos. I do the same on the photos of the PYOs I sell, and they are all very accurate to their color. I never alter their colors with dodge & burn, paint on them, etc.
Despite the lighting I can say these photos are true to his actual color, as he looks nothing like the more muted colors in the store photo. Believe me, it was quite the shock when I opened him to see such a vibrant purple! I’ll get a few more photos of him in the curio cabinet as well as outdoors so you can see in different lighting. 🙂
