Wow Wampus, seven appaloosas! And they’re each so different. Gorgeous. Blaze especially, palomino and appy go so well together. I like that eye colour too, better than the deep blue IMO. What a gorgeous group!
I just LOVE all your appies, especially Blaze, oh my gosh! He is just breathtaking. My two Unis I managed to get from the store are on their way and I’m so nervous–I like ALL of the ones I’ve seen so far except the paints/pintos. I really hope they’re not both pintos!
I count myself lucky. I don’t like paints or pintos either. And I havent gotten one. I like the appys and palominos, but all Ive gotten is appys.
EDIT: I have made a WTT post in the trade forum. Looking for a buckskin young uni(yellow tan palomino with black mane, tail and ‘socks’). I am willing to trade Emmaline, Arion or Orpheus, take your pick!

Actually, both of mine are very, very cute (even the pinto), but a little outside of what I was hoping for. I’ll probably see if they’re exactly what someone else was hoping for and maybe trade.
The first is Pangea, a palomino pinto with straw-colored gems…looks like this. But with bright blue eyes!
The second is Circadian, and he’s a mountain horse I think! Deep liver chestnut color, with a flaxen mane. Our neighbors actually used to have a mountain horse and he looks just like Circadian! He has peridot-colored gems and dark brown eyes.
Are there any photos of this batch all together? I’ll get pics up as soon as I can but the only time I really have in on Sunday and that is tooooooo far away for my liking! I want to add to the thread and show these guys off 🙂 And Caper too! I <3 him.
The palomino pinto sounds cute! And I know someone, I forget who, was really wanting a liver-chestnut-flaxen one. Either way I’m sure you could find someone to trade you for either!
And pictures are a must, have to see the cuteness! 🙂

I bought Darkling from Fairyhearted and love him. 🙂 I dont know how to post pics and so far to lazy to learn but Fairyhearted posted one in her sale topic.
Well, I got mine today. He is my second pinto. I think I would like him better if he had blue eyes. He is a gray and almost black with light amethyst jewels. I was hoping for an appy. If anyone would be interested in trading? I can email a picture if interested.
Has anyone heard from fairyhearted? I sent her a message 5 days ago about one of her grab bag young unis and haven’t heard back.

Nope, no package and no unicorns *cries* Almost a $600 purchase completely gone. I’m getting more and more irritated with UPS by the day. I know it’s not really anyone’s fault, but they’re being sort of difficult to deal with.

That’s just awful. What are they telling you?
That it’s being “investigated” and to contact the shipper for further issues and to stop calling THEM. UPS deals with the shipper, not the person who was supposed to get the package. *rolls eyes* They have until Tuesday to “reach a decision, pending the investigation” I don’t know what this “decision” is supposed to be. I guess whether or not to reimburse Windstone for the missing packges so they can do replacement order. *shrug* They’re not giving me any information involving that, they just keep telling me to contact the shipper (which has done absolutely nothing wrong, so why should I have to haunt Susie about it, you know)
The UPS kid came to my houe the other day I THOUGHT to talk with me about where he left the boxes and/or to confirm if they actually WERE left or if they were not and were possibly just key rec’ed into the system as delivered when they may not have actually been, etc… but he just had me sign some papers confirming that they will never deliver to my house again without a signiture. Nothing involving the missing packages. He was very quick to leave and avoid any questions I had. I was fairly annoyed with that part…
