Yea, so UPS was supposed to “come by” today to talk to me. I waited ALL DAY and I went down stairs just to take the dog out and I got a sticker on my door saying “sorry we missed you” grrrr…. I feel like they are avoiding the situation…

Wow seriously? Yeah I feel like more than half the time they don’t even bother to knock or ring doorbells anymore, they just take their little sticky pad out and use it instead of talking to people.
I’ve actually SEEN a UPS man do this – I was literally walking up to my house when I saw him run up to my door, slap a sticker on it and run off. I was like, seriously? Get back in your $!@% truck and give me my package!!

What’s especially impressive about this is that I live in an apartment. I’m pretty sure he fills out the “Sorry I missed you” slip before he gets out of his damn truck. XP
Ugh! I hear that! We have one really excellent UPS driver (the first really good one I’ve EVER had in all the places I’ve lived) that will wait and then help me move packages inside the door, and takes a moment to say hello and wishes me well.
The rest through? All of them? Have been terrible. D: I know that they are on a status quo… they have to do their deliveries as fast as possible, but I have had packages before where I am tracking them online and it says ‘notice left’.. buh? My chair faces the door/window so I would SEE if anyone even came to the door (plus my parrots tell me if they see anyone outside at all). No one comes on those days.. in fact, I don’t even see the UPS truck those days (to be honest though FedEx is way more guilty of this than UPS). I live on a dead end out in the country so I suspect that the drivers just skip my house when I am the only delivery in the area and say that they left a notice when they didn’t even come down my street. I can sort of understand their point but at the same time what the heck are we paying for when we buy their service? 😕

My art: featherdust.comI have problems with Fedex, but rarely with UPS. I will say they NEVER ring the doorbell, but they do leave the package. Im in the middle of nowhere right now so leaving a package isnt a big deal.
Fedex likes to hold packages hostage for days.

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.I never use ups or fedex just because of the fees. Not even customs, but any package I get they charge $20 in service fees on top of the shipping, it’s so stupid. I got charged $20 once on a package that only cost $20 to begin with, so I ended up paying $45 in fees for something that cost only $20. x__x
The post men I have are quite nice. When I first moved here they always just left notices in my mail box (I live in an apartment 3 flights up) but now they always come right up the stairs and bring them to my door. When I lived at my mom’s house they would leave slips without knocking though…that makes me so upset, it takes 2 seconds to knock and wait, jeez.
I hope they get this sorted out dragon, the package is probably sitting right on top of the pile at ups and they just haven’t found it. *crosses fingers*

I’ve been lucky, both UPS and FedEx are good where I live. Now the post office is a different story. Few months ago I put the bills out on the mailbox like I’ve done for the last 8 years here. Mailman took them, end of story. Until we start getting people walking up to our house with our mail. Everything that was brought back looked like it had been dropped in a washing machine full of mud and grit. Some of the bills did get to the recipients but the majority didn’t and we had to scramble to get everyone paid before they started shutting off utilities. I’m still trying to figure out how he dropped that much mail and didn’t notice it. It was a gigantic mess. We were signing up for ID protection and cancelling bank accounts and everything because we didn’t know what was going on.
This is the first time I have ever had an issue with UPS. I can’t stand Fed Ex. They cause me nothing but grief. They’re rude and can never seem to find where I live

I’ve been trying to get a buckskin. All I’ve gotten is appaloosas. Now I LOVE appys. I just want a buckskin in my collection (and on that note, if you have the young uni ‘Dune’ from the first batch, I’d be willing to trade Orpheus or Emmaline for him.)
So my luck is to have a plethora of appaloosas of all types.
